The Virginian Lodge, an Outbound Hotel

This is MOST definitely not a 4 star hotel.

It was over priced for the value. Rooms are clean and nice but dark, antiquated entertainment, noisy and standard at best

Quiet, clean, close to grocery store and close to downtown Jackson.

They played music in the courtyard every night which was annoying when you have an early wake up the next morning. Also there was no microwave in the room.

Pool and hot tub area. Nice aesthetic.

Room (bathroom) wasn’t cleaned up to standards. Ants in bathroom. Loud air conditioning. Resort fee. Price was high overall.

Pool, amenities

Upon check in, I was assigned a bunk bed, that was a surprise when walking in my room. I made the best of it and didn’t ask for another, but it would have been nice to have been told when checking in I was being assigned that!

This hotel is old & rustic - which is perfect for Jackson Hole. But it is NOT a 4-star hotel. It is a 2 star room (wood paneling, 60s carpet, bed is hard), 4 star shower (looks new) in a 3.5 star resort. Great area to hang out outside & bar on property

We absolutely loved the ambiance of this hotel it was vintage, western, and modern all at the same time. The salt water pool was lovely and a huge hit with the kids. It was the perfect temperature as well! We loved that there were 2 hot tubs as well.

Loxation

It is not told up front pets can not be left alone at all in room or they fine you $250. Hot tub was literally condemned by the city and I had to hop out immediately due to extreme levels of bacteria. It had to be drained and scrubbed.

Restaurant and cleanliness were excellent w lovely patio area.

The room was very unappealing? totally surprising for the beauty of the outside. It was so very disappointing except for the bathroom which was very nice

The staff and vibe of this hotel is excellent. Wonderful hotel bar & restaurant. Outdoor areas are amazing. This spot is much more about the amenities than the room itself.

Room was at best a $---/night room in value. No hotel gym. Jackson premium is substantial. If I was staying here solo while traveling, I would have been VERY disappointed.

I wish the hotel had more emphasis on safety (blue light systems along the exterior/interior courtyards or more active security)

There were 2 hot tubs and a very large pool. They also had a huge gas fireplace in the pool area. The entire pool area was very nice.The bathroom was nicely updated.

There was a weird noise that sounded like water dripping in the shower, but it was actually coming from behind the wall. They really need to replace the concrete walkways as they are very cracked and uneven.

Clean room- comfy bed- cute decor/theme- coffee, tea, hot chocolate available in lobby- great location. Quiet room and space to lay out luggage.

Hard not to feel gouged when paying $---+ for a motel with exterior entrances. Large rain head on shower was nice but the half-glass wall allowed water to soak bathroom floor.

Very old property, attitude of front desk staff.

Nice, comfortable clean room with front door opening out onto broad courtyard I enjoyed the Virginian Lounge and the live music. I also liked the rustic lobby with fresh coffee

No restaurant in hotel for breakfast. Nearby affiliated restaurant had no room. People lined up outside waiting for table. I was then directed to a nearby burrito place. Hotel tacked on a $50 charge which they said would go off. They never removed it.

Location

Very dated rooms and bath. Seems to cater to loud, drinking crowd, party all night. Cockroaches in bathroom.

2 bedroom suite had plenty of room, clean and updated.Location also great. Pool and firepit area, saloon were added bonus!

No elevator for lots of luggage
