Hampton Inn Huntington University Area

The location was great for me. There was nearby restaurants and a Marathon gas station across the street. On weekdays fruited waters are available in the lobby. the breakfast was tasty and seating was plentiful.

the bed was too hard for me.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and the environment was clean. Its proximity to the Interstate was a bonus!

Easy access to interstate and close to restaurants. Recent renovations to update hotel are very nice. Comfortable beds resulted in a good nights sleep. Breakfast options were good and coffee was plentiful.

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff

I last stayed 10 yrs ago. A big disappointment in it's current condition even though there are additional amenities. Realizing not a 5 star facility; however, it's current state warrants closure until remodeling has been completed or reduce the cost.

Location. It was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Staff were polite happy people.

You can hear everything when someone is in the hallway. Feels like the walls are paper thin. All hours or the night I could hear someone walking down the hall talking.

Room was spacious, easily accessible and bed was very comfortable.

Room window had view of the back of the entrance - no view at all except stucco entrance roof. Also light over shower was out and exhaust fan did little to dissipate steam during shower.

Staff was so helpful and friendly! Everything was clean. We were able to walk to the Bob Evans Restaurant to eat.

I could hear the people in the rooms next door to us, but they weren't rowdy and hence not a problem. So the walls are far from sound-proof.

Rooms were comfortable, the whole hotel was spotless, easy parking, breakfast was good, check in girls were on it. Very nice.

I got 5 rooms for Paramedic students to test in Huntington. Wanted a late checkout. They rushed me to leave, didn¿t want me to hang in the dining area and there was 4 cars in the lot. The 4 employees working. So stupid.

Seemed quiet, safe neighborhood. Clean room

A few minor spots on the furniture. Not a ton good food choices nearby although I could have ordered delivery. Could have used some USB ports for charging stuff besides my own but non provided.

The pillows were so bad and had a strange smell to them.

There was no soap in the room, which was kind of annoying since I checked in late and just wanted to be able to wash my hands and take a shower. Other toiletries were there, just no soap. Such an easy thing to get right, but no.

The hotel is clean and the room was in good condition.

The indoor swimming pool was murky and cold. Not inviting. The breakfast was poor. Waffle maker not working, although fixings were out. Almost nothing to eat except toast or one kind of cereal. Expected better from Hampton.

After a call telling them I'd be arriving after midnight, the darling woman at the front desk knew exactly who I was, she had my key card all ready for me.Quick check in. Slept well, had a great breakfast.

My only disappointment was that there was no ice machine on the first floor (but that darlinv front desk lady filled my bucket). Also a note about the pool being closed was a sad sight to see... No workout for me¯\(°¬°)/¯

It was in a safe area, it was quiet

The bathtub made a loud squeaky noise when you stand in it, the bed was not very comfortable, the bathroom floor was sticky (as if someone had sprayed hairspray all over it) and your bare feet would stick to it.

The price was good

The room was not all that clean. There were chips along the base of the bed that had never been vacuumed up. I couldn¿t get the coffee maker to plug into the outlet so I had to take it to the bathroom to use. It was not up to the standards we expected.

It was clean and the room was okay.

We selected this hotel based on a pool for our kids to use. We were told it was closed for maintenance...on a Saturday. Shouldn't this have been done during the week? How do they even find people to do this kind of work on a Saturday?

Extremely clean! Easy access to the interstate. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was nice. The hotel was very quiet.
