- Location, kitchen, staff and owner worked with us when we were inconvenienced with some unforeseeable problems
- The availability of the kitchenette, with cooking appliances and utensils. Location was central to the Door County destinations we planned to visit.

Cons -
- Budget rooms are very small. Mattresses in our first room were very squeaky and affected our sleep! The other rooms were okay.
- Maintenance of a recliner in the room - the power switch did not work to use the chair
- Room was so musty and damp that it made all of our clothes and luggage retain the odor. Bought a bottle of Febreeze to help. Box springs were really old. Needs a shelf in the remodeled bathroom to set toiletries on.
