    Pros +

    • Hotel employee was so helpful & she went above & beyond to help us out with a fish boil reservation. We also reviewed the hotel's menu at the front desk, and we enjoyed a great meal! :) Loved the broasted chicken & Ahi Tuna melt. Delicious! Thank you, :D
    • The location is amazing. The jacuzzi tub was very nice.
    • It was close to downtown and had a nice tiki bar/restaurant that we enjoyed.

    Cons -

    • The torn sign by the lodge needs replacement, and the road by lodge needs fixing.
    • Breakfast left a lot to be desired. On the buffet table was one pan of scrambled eggs & cheese that was luke warm. There was some yogurt and granola but we wondered how long the yogurt had been sitting out at room temperature.
    • The air conditioning in the room didn't work well.

The overall feel of the hotel. The room was great. Great layout, Whirlpool tub, double fireplace, kitchenette with table and living room area.

The room was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed.

The exterior look and the grounds could use some work. Parking was weird as well. The location was not the greatest as well.

Staff were very nice! Nice and quiet! Very good food and drinks. Nice place!

    no elevator

Outdated, overpriced, no pool as advertised, poor breakfast, sketchy" guests" staying there

    10RogerPosted on: 3-5-2022

Great like new room. Clean, neat, nice. Nothing to disappoint at all! Restaurant has the Worlds greatest Broasted Chicken, and the Pot Roast is better than Grandma's! All workers were really family friendly! I say superb over all.

It was a very pleasant stay over all. Thank you!

It may be an off season situation however, the front desk does not open until 8.I was hoping to get some coffee earlier. The Starbucks packaged coffee in the room was very disappointing. Maybe they could have a coffee station for the early risers like me

OH MY GOSH! I can't say enough good things about this place. Amazing staff! Clean! Bar and restaurant on site. I absolutely HATED leaving! I was so comfortable there. Staff treated me like a friend! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!

    No!!!!

Rooms were clean. We enjoyed the fireplace. The sheet describing the hotel history was interesting.

Wifi was not password protected. Staff expressed political opinions while serving breakfast.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-13-2021

Nothing.- horrible experience- a lack of updating anything. Moldy bathrooms, surly front desk staff member at night, no food served except breakfast during the time we were there. It is incredible that this property could pass any licensing standards.

It was an awful experience. Towels were dirty too.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-8-2021

The location was the best part of the motel being right across the street from the water. When you drive up, the tiki bar is charming too.

Employees were mostly rude. Room was in need of updating. Dirty chair in room, ripped curtains, worn tub, etc. The lodge has potential, but is very disappointing where it is at present.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 7-30-2021

The suite was spacious and comfy. Nice to have kitchenette with dishes and flatware.

I was confused about where to check in; no sign designating which building. I didn¿t see elevators. I had requested a first floor room, which was easily accessible. Do this if there are mobility issues.

    10TammyPosted on: 9-2-2020

My husband and I really like the Lodge. Our room was perfect. We will be come back again.

The only thing that was bad was the morning front desk lady. She was rude. We wanted to buy t-shirts and she said i don't have time for this. I am helping serve breakfast. We didn't get any t-shirts :(

    location

Tub and shower curtain was not clean. Masks were not worn by most guests. Breakfast attendant wore a mask and gloves and frequently touched her mask. I had to ask her to change her gloves and avoid touching her face.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-17-2020

Location was fairly close to many attractions.

Not enough staff to meet needs, such as bar/restaraunt expectations. Free Breakfast sub par. Hours for accomadations such as the pool were not followed.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-5-2018

    Custom omlette breakfast

Old model and not clean. Too costly for something that is not updated.
