Pros +
- An absolutely charming place to stay! Beautiful gardens, and gorgeous 1800's decor. Lovely owners and staff. Would definitely return for a future stay.
- It was close to town.
- The gardens and the breakfast.
Cons -
- A small refrigerator in the room would be helpful to store medications.
- TV too small, couch very uncomfortable.
- We got a good price and may have been assigned the last available room. It was not possible to get cozy and watch TV in our room the way the room was arranged. We have stayed in another room at White Lace Inn that was more functional.

Had a great wood burning fireplace for a cold February night !
Loved the inn! Even stayed another night!!!
Awesome. Great staff
Delicious breakfast. Friendly hosts.

Very cosy, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and very nice people staying there, we met amazing couple we were chatting by bonfire and had a great time together.
The room are clean and comfortable. The breakfast and all personal are great.
I have driven by it many times over the years, and promised myself I would stay there one year. Sadly, my husband passed away March of 2024, so I went with a girl friend. We had a fun time!
Since we are in our 70’s, the steps were daunting, but Dennis gladly was able to give us a first floor room!
The experience of almost going back in time in a comfy bedroom was enjoyable. The staff was awesome and the breakfast was an added bonus!
Booking.com was not receptive to our complaint of overpaying on their site, so called Genius status for using their site so often in the past. . A foreign company that has poor customer service. We'll do our best to book with a different agency next trip if possible.
Bed was very comfortable clean nice staff. Authentic building and furniture
Couch badly needed to be replaced. Stairs were difficult to manage. Ice was old
Very welcoming and beautiful place. Beautiful garden setting and comfortable room. Owners are so nice. And breakfast was so good.
The only thing I didn't like was that it rained on the day of my stay. Would have liked to enjoy the beautiful garden and gazebo. Not their fault?
Breakfasts were incredible and they were so wonderful about my dietary issues. The location was walkable to so many things. The room and entire property was comfortable yet museum worthy Victorian.
Owner Dennis either was stressed, tired, or just not social. We'd hoped to say good morning on our last day, and thank him, but when he finished chatting with some other dining guests, he just ignored us and left.
It’s a beautiful inn with friendly outgoing staff and innkeeper, lovely grounds
The people were friendly, the room was all we needed and the breakfast was wonderful!
If you require a refrigerator or microwave, this isn’t the place for you. The staff helped us keep a small bag of goodies cold in the refrigerator, so our stay was fine.
Stayed in the cottage house, very nice. Antique furniture, lovely yard with fire pit, flowers and small pond..lovely sitting area. Breakfast was OK..fresh fruit would have been nice.
This location is great being within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Staff are great and offer a wealth of local information. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We utilized the grounds in the evening and enjoyed a relaxing time around the fire pit.
We have stayed here multiple times because we enjoyed our previous stays.
Owners were very kind and welcoming very nice people,The fireplace was an amazing touch would 100% go again
That I couldn’t stay longer
