Grandstay Hotel & Suites Mount Horeb - Madison

Hotel employee the best customer service! She was welcoming, polite and always smiling! What an asset to this beautiful hotel! Breakfast was good and the lady that was replenishing it was very friendly and accommodating. Great staff!

There was Nothing we disliked about it!

The door to our room would not latch shut tight. Then when moved to another room, there was nastiness in the fridge and that door didn¿t latch shut tigjt either but at least the deadbolt worked in that one. Not very cleanly. I would rate this hotel 2 star

Quiet, clean, neat, and affordable.

The pool and hot tub were exceptionally nice. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Great value for the price! We would stay here again.

We love visiting Mt Horeb and the Grandstay does not disappoint! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and we loved the outdoor patio area. It was a great area to relax outdoors.

Location was convenient for our stay.

Shower had no water / broken faucet. We notified staff on the first day and were told that they would take care of it. Never got fixed. The only compensation offered was a gift certif. for a future stay. No help as we won¿t likely be returning to the area

Night staff not there to check me in, despite calling to tell them I'd be arriving after midnight. Two young girls and their drunk friend showed up nearly 30 minutes later with no apology & thought it was funny. Check out staff was polite/professional.

Evening check in staff need training in customer service.

The hot tub was not in service. Had to upgrade our room to one that included a whirlpool. Thank goodness one was available!

Was Very disappointed that hot tub not working. Had been looking forward to that during cold and snowy weather. Pool area felt chilly as well. Room was cleaned but mattress/pillows felt uncomfortable. Staff pleasant.

Breakfast was so good the poor lady on duty could not keep up! Most staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy to get to and easy to get out of. Swim pool and hot tub were very clean and hot tub worked. Room was clean, toilet and shower also.

More breakfast. We had to wait in between batches of hash and eggs. Better coffee in the hotel rooms.

Clean hotel and rooms, comfy beds, very nice pool area open till midnight for adults. A few nice pubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive from the hotel. Breakfast could be a bit better, but basically similar to other places that offer one. Really nice place for a price paid.

Comfortable room, clean, great location. Decent breakfast.

Kind of awkward layout of our room -- long and narrow, and a bit dim for the lighting. Our family member's room with a couch was a more streamlined layout.

Quiet location close to Mount Horeb with easy parking.

There was a strong chemical smell in the room which we could smell from the hallway. There had been a wedding at the hotel the day before we arrived and it smelled like a nail salon in our bedroom.

THE BREAKFAST WAS TYPICAL OF HOTEL OFFERINGS. The hotel was in a great location for us and easily accessed. The facility was very clean. The pool open until midnight!

The staff was not friendly - almost afraid to speak to us. An outgoing staff would have really made this hotel outstanding. At checkin the lady appeared from the back room and then we never saw her again that evening. Sometimes a bell is not enough. Also, I should mention that the hotel was almost vacant ... This was not a warm fuzzy experience in Mt Horeb.

We had to change rooms, no fault of anyone, due to a bathroom pipe leak at the sink.

Easy to find hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable beds. Best pillows I've ever seen in a hotel. The soap and lotion smelled pretty.

The rooms could have had better lighting.

It was clean comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful! Loved it!
