Pros +
- Reopened motel last year, they kept the original chandeliers, and most of the original wood. Also has the original bar. Art work was nice. Room was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.
- Historic venue with great restaurant attached - the Nola Grille is excellent.
- Very old building but the room was excellent with a whirlpool bathtub. The lobby, bar and restaurant had beautiful pictures and stained glass and etched Windows. We had a very nice stay.

- They could have had a discount for the breakfast buffet for people staying at the hotel.
- The whirlpool jet tub only had hot water, so I had to run cold water from the shower to balance the temperature.
- When we tried to check in, they said that we didn't have a reservation until next week. I showed the front desk my confirmation email and she told me that she couldn't read it. They had no available rooms so we left uncompensated for our trouble. VERY BAD

The lobby area is very inviting. For the most part the food was good.
We are senior citizens and climbing into the high bed was a major process. There were nosteps for an aid. The bed made an aggravating squeal with every move. We had a miserablenight. The toilet had to be flushed twice, always, before it was cleansed.
Should be 10/10 but maid missed cleaning our room. They gave us breakfast the next morning in restaurant so we are very happy & definitely will return.

It was very charming and had tons of character.
On street parking was limited.
The hotel, not really. Just not a lot to do/place to get food. Beware-nothing delivers there!
Kind of an old world charm. Wonderful place to stay.
The only possible negative is that it is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the extra miles!
