    Pros +

    • charming decor in the lavendar cottage. kitchen well supplied, and coffee etc..popcorn provided! lovely views and beach access.
    • Location was perfect, beautiful water view from the room. Host service was poor as no one EVER answers the phone and texts are replied to in a VERY untimely manner. "Cleaning" fee obviously doesn't include vacuuming as per hair was all along the baseboard
    • Awesome location for cyclists. To to get to trail head.

    Cons -

    • Very disappointed in the mis-advertised pet policy. Many booking sites show this as a non-pet hotel but that isn't the case. Would NOT have come because my kid is asthmatic & Pet hair everywhere! Hot tub water had not been drained in a while & was opaque
    • The shower head could have been nicer. Hot water took awhile to get there.
    • The private hot tub was great, but was having a little issue with the jets – they wanted to be on at all times, which turned into a white noise machine at night. I alerted owners, so hopefully they will fix it.

Fabulous out-of-the-way location, but relatively easy access to the Olympic Discovery Trail. This cabin was outstanding. Fabulous kitchen, fabulous view, comfortable living room and bedroom.

The private hot tub was great, but was having a little issue with the jets – they wanted to be on at all times, which turned into a white noise machine at night. I alerted owners, so hopefully they will fix it.

Comfortable Bed and location (nice view)

The hot tub is not private. The cottage description makes it sound like it is but in fact you have to walk across a lawn to a shared hot tub in view of all the other cottages, which turned us off. The cottages were ok. Could use some upgrading and better workmanship throughout for the price we’re paying

Nice location, we drove to ONP two days in a row and it wasn't a bad drive. The cottage was quiet and had a nice backyard that can be accessed to use too.

If you're a big person the bathroom would be a challenge, it is tight and the shower is small. The rest of the cottage felt roomy enough.

    Beautiful and cozy place.

The hot tub wasn’t working and when they send someone to fix it the water was so hot we couldn’t stay there long.

Close to town! Close to water!Nice and clean. And the decor was beautiful!

    Nothing everything was perfect.

It was in a good location and had a nice view.

The shower had not been cleaned. There was an empty shampoo bottle left in the shower as well as some grime and hair. the toilet also had a leak. I contacted management by text and email, but did not receive a response until next day. They did offer to come by and clean shower, but by that time, I had cleaned the shower myself. She said that maintenance would be by later that day. Late in the afternoon, we received a text saying maintenance could not repair toilet because we had not left the door unlocked. First of all, she never said we needed to leave the door unlocked. Secondly, we would not have left our belongings vulnerable to theft. She said she would make it up to us, but never did. We understand things aren’t perfect at times (we own nightly rentals, as well) but things should be made right.

    Location was great.

The bed is terrible. Squeaks and creeks with the slightest bit of movement

Very clean and all high quality amenities. The view of the Ocean was not very visable but it was just across the street. It was our favorite stay on our trip along the WA. Coast.

    Nothing .It was great.

    The hot tub and view.

Our neighbors up at 11:00 pm arguing and yelling.

I loved this property. Super cute cottage. Great view of the water. The Lavender room was perfect for our one night stay. We would stay again.

Nice location near the water- all the units have views of the bay. The cottages are very clean and well supplied. Fair value for the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. (for those who are not familiar with the area, the "beach" is rocky coastline along the inner part of Dungeness bay- good for tide pooling but not a place to really lounge around- there is a park nearby with a bigger rocky beach and of course Dungeness spit which is sandy).

very tiny bathroom in unit 3.

    The view!

The bathroom door, if left open, is a hazard to the person sleeping in that side of the bed. You can run into it at night. Not sure how you'd fix it, though.

Loved this cottage overlooking the water! Clean, cozy with all of the small details accounted for. The hot tub was an additional bonus! The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful and relaxing stay. The cottage was very cozy and we loved sitting on the deck overlooking the water and watching the birds. We can't wait to stay again!

Could have used more coffee pods.

View of the water, and loved watch ship pass by.Nice kitchen w/ most cooking impliments available.Bed was comfortable.

Sofa and throw pillows were musty w/ BO. - (Im just sensitive to smells.)I bring my own good due to allergies…I would have appreciated a Full size frig.I appreciate privacy at night… there were no curtains or blinds in the kitchen /dining area, which is visible to the bedroom. Bathroom didn't have a counter to place the hairdryer…except in the sink… (Im sure there is a reasonable solution there)

The Dungeness Bay Cottages are wonderful with so many thoughtful touches to make it cozy and warm. We loved the space and especially enjoyed using the kitchen, the hot tub and sitting in the adirondacks enjoying the sea breeze.

The cottages are ideal for a weekend get-away and a wonderful, secluded retreat. Unfortunately, it was quite a schlepp for exploring the Olympic National Park or convenient food or restaurants. We would recommend shopping and just staying in to cook and enjoy the space.

Quiet road near the bay, nice neighbourhood to walk around. Comfortable bed. Gas grill was nice to have.

A lot of amenities, none of which are included in the room rate. Want to have a fire, somehow find wood nearby… want to kayak, organise that separately.
