Hyatt Place Seattle/Downtown

Staff very polite, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and lobby was nice.

Parking much too expensive. The hotel was a great value outside of the parking but once included it was just an ok value.

Good location close to Seattle sights. Plenty of great restaurants nearby which is great given food at the hotel is only breakfast which was "perfectly OK". Loved the view of the Space Needle from our room.

Room was decent, beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. Breakfast was fairly good but finding seating is a bit of a problem. Location is very good and there is ample parking.

The fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate till the fire-fighters cleared us to re-enter. I know it's not the property's fault but we did not receive any kind of explanation or apology for the inconvenience.

Bed was really soft almost felt worn out. Water pressure wasn’t great but not terrible either.

The location is great. I saw some people had safety concerns but we didn't run into any issues or feel unsafe and we were in and out all hours of the night up until 2 in the morning. We walked everywhere and if you know Seattle you know what to expect. This location wasn't anything out of the ordinary. We encountered multiple staff members and only one wasn't very pleasant.

The parking garage is tricky. Fortunately we were able to move to one of the bigger spots after the first night but there aren't many of them so it is a tight squeeze for minivans, SUVs, and trucks. The first night when we checked in the woman at the front desk seemed annoyed. She was very short with us and wasn't interested in explaining much. We just asked about parking and she seemed irritated having to tell us the cost and write up the parking tag. After that night though the rest of the staff was fine. The elevators are slow because there are only 2 and most of our time there one of them wasn't working correctly which caused it to be even slower. The room was clean but not very big for a room meant to fit 5-6 with 2 beds and a pull out couch. The beds weren't comfortable either. They were noisy all night every time anybody moved and the mattresses aren't great. We didn't hear other hotel guests, which was nice, unless they were standing right outside our door. The cleaning crew did stand out there and have a loud conversation one morning but for the most part it was just a brief conversation you'd hear as they passed. All in all, we did enjoy being in a spot where we could walk most places and I think this is what you pay for because otherwise it would not be worth the cost. We stayed 4 nights and with parking it was about $450/night. I know we went during a busy time but it was definitely overpriced for what the room was.

Perfect location! Just a short walk to the Space Needle, and there’s a pharmacy right across the street for convenience. The room was super spacious with neat and clean beddings, complete toiletries, and housekeeping every two days. Staff at the restaurant were very attentive, and the healthy breakfast was a great start to the day. Highly recommended!

Room was very clean and well kept. Everything worked and was great. Dan at Hyatt place downtown Seattle is so kind and friendly. Very helpful and went above and beyond. The security officer on duty was extremely helpful and kind as well.

No microwave and had to pay 45$ for parking in the hotels garage on top of the room already! Free parking should come with room.
