Located less than a mile to Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal, this San Juan Island hotel features a seasonal outdoor hot tub open from May to October and rooms with free Wi-Fi. San Juan National Historic Park is 5 miles away. A flat-screen cable TV and coffee-making facilities are included in each guest room at Discovery Inn. An private bathroom is also provided. Queen guestrooms are located on the third floor and accessible by stairs only. The hotel offers seating areas and BBQ facilities in a park-like setting. Whale watching tours with San Juan Safaris is less than a mile away. English Camp is 15 minutes’ drive away.

Parking right in front of room
The room was big with plenty of space and the gentleman was very helpful when I checked in

Cons -

Shower head is broken. Temperature thermometer heating setting doesn?t work.
1) No front-desk staff, especially during the short period designated for check-in 2) Unusual large room window, leading to no privacy (had to pull down the shades for entire stay--privacy film would take care of this) 3) No accessibility: no ramps
The heater was difficult to figure out.
