Pros +
- I loved the architecture of the room. The beautiful exposed beams and the tongue and groove on the ceiling. I've never seen that in a motel and it was exquisite. I also loved having a full sink with a stove. I will be staying at the anchor inn often
- Convenient, clean
- quiet
Cons -
- There only thing I did not like was the loud neighbor on my last day at the motel. He woke us up very early talking very loudly and banging stuff around for hours.
- Very thin walls-could hear the neighbor
- Bate and switch tactics! Reserved a king suite at check was told they did not have it. Was given a room with 2 double beds The room was actually 2 small rooms with a bed in each room.Site said pet friendly but neglected to state we had to pay for the dog.

For an inexpensive room you get more than what you pay for! The owners were more than accommodating. This not the Hilton but it's not $200 p/n Wi fi in rooms We will stay here every time bfore going into Canada
No. I went in aware of the ratings and the room/service exceeded all expectations. But go in knowing you made a choice to save money and don't submit bad reviews because you compare it to a more expensive motel it's not fair to future customers
The location
Nobody in office. We checked in after 9pm and was informed they left our room key under the mat outside our room. Didn't feel comfortable using the bathroom for bathing or even brushing our teeth as it wasn't clean.
location was the only aspect, there are a lot of long term somewhat shady renters there, loud outside and not a place for families or children or anyone wanting to feel safe, the owners also wanted to clean my room at 9:30 at night????? very disturbing!!!
When I first tried to check in they said they gave my reserved room away and tried to send me to another hotel, I had to demand they respect my reservation and give me the available room, which was larger than I reserved but the only one they had left.
Great view
Much smaller than pictured, glass shards on the floor, despite searching for hotels for 5 (two adults and three children) when we got to rhe hotel we were told a maximum of four was allowed. Front desk unoccupied and it took 15 minutes to find someone.
Coffee maker available and easy to use.
It was clean.
They need new beds and pillows.
Nothing because I never got to go to the room and they messed up the first reservation so I was very disappointed because I was treated as if I didn't matter
Everything I did not like the service at all
Great little spot! Stayed one night and loved how peaceful it was. The lady at the front desk was super welcoming, and the room was huge with all the essentials. While the layout of my particular room didn't allow for nightstands (my only real complaint), the comfort and quiet location made up for it. Don't overlook this place just because it’s a small motel!
The location is walking distance from town. We like having two separate bed rooms and a kitchenette.
Location
This place accommodates to disruptive drug users. Wouldn’t recommend if traveling with loved ones / family for safety reasons. Spiders in room as well.
Property bad with privacy. Manager and long term neighbors are nosey. BEWARE!
The property manager lives on side right across from buildings. Was very uncomfortable when I would look at the windows or go outside and see the property owner being nosey checking up on everyone every 5 minutes. Was a very an easy feeling
LocationFull kitchen
Room was cold and hard to get warm. Would be great to have extra blankets
We had to wait 2 hours at the Vancouver, BC airport for our luggage to arrive, so instead of driving the 4 hours home, we called the Inn to reserve a room. They left a key for us since we would be so late arriving. We slept well, and it was quite a very good experience.
No complaints
Our room was squeaky clean and bright with glimpses of the water. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge was quiet and efficient. We had also a microwave and a coffee tray as well as a table and chair in the room. We loved the extra-corner in which we could place our luggage without cluttering up the room. Toiletries and a hairdryer completed the bathroom that had a small sliding window. The location is about 5 minutes' walk from the historical center (including breakfast options) and very quiet. Perfect for an overnighter.
Due to the size of the room, there was only one night stand with a lamp above. Another lamp on the other side of the bed would have been perfect. The very loud and blasting AC has to be upped to the 80s in order to achieve the 70s, and the bathroom is simply cold and gets steamed up quickly, therefore. No fan in there; I used the hair dryer ... The check-in feels a bit like a hole-in-the wall and, as a first impression, simply has to up its appearances (staff was very friendly, though).
Was quiet and new looking on the inside
The pillows were terrible and the shower is too short for tall people! Also need more than one garbage can in the room.
Good location, more or less recently renovated, clean.
No facial tissues, no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Location, cleanliness, and value
Mattress was lumpy, and the lighting in the unit odd, i.e., the bathroom lights were on the side of the sink, so shaving one side of my face was done in shadows, etc.
