I like the property very much. The rooms were clean, good size, and the hot breakfest was wonderful. You would have all the calories you need for a day sking

The pool and sauna were going through renovation. It’s great that they are investing in their property, but put down the pictures. Also the wifi was not working through out our stay, and our cells would not work either. Still I would stay there again, I would love to stay there when the pool is open and WIFI is working.

Staff stayed late to check-in, clean, reasonable price.

Clean comfortable

No breakfast when the site says there was

Rooms were renovated, clean, not too far from Woodstock.

Our room was below owners suite and there was a lot of footstep noise on the wooden floors in the early evening.Continental breakfast was pretty sparse.

Convenient location, quiet, cozy

Breakfast. The guys do not know what a continental breakfast is. Bagels and sweets. The price of the room is too high for such an overnight stay

They went above and beyond to accomodate last minute my girlfriend. She fractured her leg days before arrival. They got us into a room that was accessible to her.

No food or bar due to upgrades.

Lovation

When we arrived and were shown to our room by the new general manager, she apologized for the smell in the room and said that she installed the fan to try to get the smell out. After that, we noticed that the entire room was dirty and in disarray, especially in the bathroom. We have been waiting for a complete and full refund for a month now. we are so disappointed in the way this entire event has transpired. We traveled six hours to get there and then because this room was awful. We spent another three hours driving around trying to find a place to stay on a Friday night in October. Of course we had to pay for another two nights for the hotel we finally were able to book in another town.

Great place. Kylie and Auburn, the two managers are amazing. They are very attentive and go out of their way to make sure the guests are happy. The place is in a good location close to Pico mountain. The rooms are clean, comfortable, have a mini fridge and very comfortable beds.Would highly recommend.

I found the inn exceptionally clean and updated. The staff were very accommodating and informative about the area. The continental breakfast was great! I will definitely be returning to the Grey bonnet .

Wish I could have stayed longer.

This was a weird stay bc we were the only people at the hotel, so it felt very odd checking in, but the place was running and clean. Arcade and indoor pool were amazing for my kids

Outdoor pool looks to be discontinued and the breakfast was a bit meager. Onsite restaurants I guess only runs in winter.

Excellent communication and overall accommodation, especially for a late night check-in scenario. I appreciated receiving a direct text (from an actual staff member on site!) with clear instructions v.s. the usual sifting through booking-confirmation emails to find instructions. Something as simple as this was so personal and made us feel relieved we weren't keeping staff up late waiting for us to check-in, while also not feeling abandoned or locked out as tired guests. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer the following morning, but we had already made breakfast plans with friends in town so we were on our way early the next morning. There is an outdoor + indoor pool, and our room had a small balcony with a sliding door that would have been perfect for a morning coffee had we stayed longer. We will definitely be back to soak up some more time to relax at this hidden gem.

A beautiful ski-lodge themed Inn in an absolutely gorgeous location. A spacious lounging area in near the lobby and a large game room downstairs made for lots of room to hang out and relax.

It was a bit dated, but all in all, that added to the appeal.

6debbiePosted on: 7-9-2025

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was big and comfortable. The pool is closed in the morning, but the staff let us use the game room instead (except for Skee Ball). The game room is nice, featuring mini billiards, Skee Ball, Ping pong, and other activities.

- My main disappointment was that I paid more to go to this location based on all the reviews of a great hot breakfast, only to find that they only serve a continental breakfast in summer and spring (no hot items and minimal protein)- The interior is comfy, but the exterior needs work. As you can tell from the external pics, it needs cosmetic updates. When you drive up, it feels outdated and run-down (with rusty doors, a fading exterior, etc.), but perhaps that's part of the ski lodge's charm and nostalgia?- The outdoor pool was closed, and the indoor pool was in poor condition with uneven floors and rust on the doors. However, the pool was clean and the kids still enjoyed it.- For a long time, we thought we were the only ones there, which was very eerie. I think this is a great ski lodge but feels weird in the summer.
