Pros +
- Room was clean and very spacious.
- Everything
- Prompt pool shuttles. Easily accessible restaurants.
Cons -
- ** BEWARE - Wyndham Smugglers Notch charges an extra "Resort Fee" on top of the total room fee that you pay. We were definitely NOT expecting this at check-in. The air conditioner was only a wall unit in the bedroom. It did not cool the entire unit.
- Horrible smell in room - way way way too much dusting/pine sol cleaners. Toilet broken. TV not 'smart' enough - only regular TV available, slow wifi & no Internet. Fire alarm kept going off for basic things - taking a shower & making coffee.
- We stayed 2 nights during Canada Thanksgiving weekend. Apparently it was ladybug season, got to know during check in. Our resort had thousands of ladybug inside (please see attached picture). Called front desk, at first said they are sending someone. After 1 hour and our kids getting traumatized, we told them to change the room. They said they were fully booked and tried to comfort us that ladybug doesn't harm or come towards the food, so it should be fine. After 3 hours the room service person came and said the same thing, there's nothing they can do and told us to suck out the ladybugs using the vacuum cleaner hose. If this something they face every year during this time of the year, they should warn people and advise book at your own risk. In fact, I'm surprised no where on the description on Booking.com this is mentioned. I cannot advise enough people to not book this and also expected better from Booking.com during booking for this location

The size of the property and location and the kitchen with full supply
It’s overrated and pricey . No amenities included in the rental.
Prompt pool shuttles. Easily accessible restaurants.

Nice location. Good facilities if you want to pay extra for them.
It's quite an expensive resort just for accommodation and yet you have to pay extra for almost everything you want to do. Nothing is included. Very disappointing to find out after the fact that there is an additional $57USD resort fee, especially when the services provided weren't that great. You'd think that the nightly rate and resort fee would at least include access to the pools, but no. That's (a lot) extra. The wifi was very slow and, despite having 4 TVs in the condo, we were not able to connect any of them to wifi, so we couldn't access Netflix, Prime, etc. to watch an evening movie. IIt is a nice resort but I feel a bit ripped off. Smugglers strategy seems to be to nickel and dime people into paying more money than expected, and it's not that cheap in the first place. I doubt we'll be back.
Staff at the Fun Zone were super friendly and very helpful.
Service at the Grille Restaurant was very slow. But the hostess that was working Saturday morning compensated extremely well.
This was a gem of a stay in the Stowe area. Our apartment was fabulous, clean, comfy beds, extremely well kitted out with lots of space and a wonderful balcony looking towards the mountains which was perfect to watch the sunrise. The location was very good for exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed off season and it felt quite quiet, it might not be so peaceful in the summer months.
The location was wonderful - very close to Stowe via Smugglers Notch and the restaurants in Stowe. The view of the autumn leaves from our unit was spectacular. Our unit was clean & comfortable and check-in was very easy.
Amenities like the hot tub, sauna, and pool are not included and a Smugglers Notch amenities pass needs to be purchased.
Amazing staff and amenities.
Some pool and hot tubs closed earlier than others I think having them all open til 10pm is a better standard than some closing at 7/8 and some at 9/10
Place
On booking it wrote that pool is included but on front desk thay told me that I have to pay $55 per person. And for sky pass thay told me it is $100 per person but they charged me $248 for two people.
Didn't have breakfast nor any other meals on site. The spaciousness of the rooms. The comfort of the beds. The overall cleanliness. Staff was very helpful at the reception.
Didn't like the fact that I would of had to pay an extra $30 USD per person (group of 5) to go swimming for an hour....

The location was great, our room was very good. I didn't expect to have all those facilities in the room which was great. We didn't have breakfast included, but the breakfast at the restaurant was very good.
Honestly, I can't think of anything!

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable.Check in and check out very quick A lot of restaurants and activities
The activities was paid and very expensive Not include with Windham accommodation
Lots of options for activities and the condo in Oaks was well stocked and nice.
I didn’t like that Wi-Fi was an added cost. $15 per day is ridiculous. The tub plug in the master bath of Oaks 15 wouldn’t stay plugged.
The facilities were beautiful, the staff seemed happy, the scenery and area were nice, and the apartment itself was roomy and nice.
When I rented the place, it listed the pool and other amenities. When we asked about the pool, they said it would be 90 bucks a day per adult and 70 bucks a day per child to use the pool. Paying over 300 bucks just to swim is ridiculous, and the listing should have explained that before we rented it.
