    Pros +

    • The back side is surrounded by forest. We could grill out in complete privacy. The room was pretty big, and the bed very comfortable.
    • Back door to a court yard.
    • The location worked very well for us visiting family in Greenville, VA. And the price was good for what we needed: a place to sleep and that was all. We have stayed here many times over the past several years, I believe it was cleaner than in the past.

    Cons -

    • Just one small thing, no ice machine, but 2 truck stops and a gas station right across the road, simple fix.
    • Hard to find at night and shabby.
    • Nothing fancy about this place but we were not looking or expecting fancy. Everything looks worn but it was all functional including the refrigerator and microwave. No internet but was not expecting any. Plenty of hot water.

Bed was comfy and no bed bugs.

Room smelled like urine. Not cleaned well as there were stains on the walls and dresser and bedside table had crumbs and sticky residue on the top surface. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Poor location. Someone else's clothes were still in the dresser. Room smelled like smoke. Not cleaned. Stepped on glass on the floor. Have contacted my bank to refute the charges

    Close to highway exit.

TV remote did not work. Manager came and tried. Just could not change channels.Remote batteries were fine. Volume worked but channel switch not good. She did not offer to change the remote.Breakfast was average. No hot water for tea.Must use micowave.

    It had a bed.

There was hair on the bathroom sink. The furnishings were dated and shabby. The door was unlocked when we arrived. There was a messy pile of towels on the desk near the door.

In the website they offer "breakfast" they had only corn flakes and cheerios. Things were not ready went to eataround 8:30 The staff is unfriendly and they keep calling you in the morning to "shoo" you out. The room feels damp and smalls like disinfectant

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-18-2017

Swings in the back and large yard for kids to play in.

Quite dated. Not the cleanest feel. Beds were so soft and/or worn that you would roll off. No breakfast as advertised

An inexpensive, old inn, run by a family who live on site. The rooms are clean & in good repair. We've stayed here 3 times in the past 4 months. The beds are comfortable, though not new. This last visit we found a charcoal grill on our tiny balcony.

The bath towels are thin and the plastic shampoo packets are hard to open in the shower with wet hands. The TV sits on a dresser that is lower than the bed, which makes seeing the screen difficult when laying down.

    Location

We didn't get the king room that we paid for, and they refused to refund the money.. I'll never stay there again.

It is right off the freeway. It is right across from a 24 hour truck stop. The water pressure in the shower was good. The water was hot.

I killed several bugs while in the room. There is no coffee pot or keurig in the room. The ceiling looks like it is barely holding on. The room is dated.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-5-2016

The price we paid was the lowest possible almost anywhere and it still had all you need to stay on the way to somewhere else.

The heater made a loud click every time it came on. Also it said free breakfast but there wasn't much to eat (cereal but no milk or yogurt).

    Great Location & Price

Late breakfast (Too late for getting on the road early).

Family run business. They seemed to care about the hotel. It was dated but I could see that they made an effort to maintain it. The location was convenient to I81. Im sure that the truckers find it a good place to rest. There was plenty of very hot water

Its a good option if you are travelling with young kids. They have a nice back yard so you can just relax. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. With the price I paid per day, can't ask for more.

    Wifi was pretty slow.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-28-2016

The owner was terrible walked into the room before we checked out stared at us while we were brushing our teeth they literally asked us to shut the water...(?) very rude disgusting unprofessional but the room itself was OK

    9ChristinePosted on: 8-25-2016

Large room, comfortable bed, clean room, low price, great for a one night stay.

Air conditioning unit was older and did not seem to be adjustable. Took a long time to cool the room.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-1-2016

    Queen beds and clean

Poor staff. They ask me to pay 10$ extra when do they check in but hey did not tell me when I book in online.

    1GreggPosted on: 8-31-2015

Not clean. Broken lights in bathroom. Very old and run down. Beds not comfortable. One of the Worst.

Beds. Not clean. Broken light fixtures. Checkout time 10 a. m. After that they will charge you.
