Jackson Park Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

Pros +

• The ambiance was wonderful as they kept so much of the original building. People were very friendly. The room was so spacious and the bed comfortable!!
• Quaint, lovely staff,
• This hotel us impeccably clean. He staff were welcoming. I arrived late and tge restaurants were closed. They gave me a complimentary package of crackers to hold me over until a nice breakfast tye following morning.

Cons -

• Really close to railway track
• The hotel was a little off my route in a sleepy little town with little in the way of shopping or restaurants after 8PM. But the setting on the river bank in downtown Pulaki conveyed a feeling of rest and relaxation after a day of cross country driving.
• Thin walls ; can hear all guests in all surroundings rooms. Ear plugs help to buffer the frequent freight trains passing close by.
