Halesford Harbour Resort - Smith Mountain Lake

Power went out the first night for hours. Bulbs out over the sink. Sheets horrible fit. Kept coming off during the night. But worst of all had people in room above us with a big dog that. The dog kept pacing all night long and the people were stomping.

Room was covered in dog hair. There was a hole/crack through the shower floor dried contacts on the side table tv remote didn’t work it appears it hasn’t been mopped

The location was wonderful.

The hotel room was adequate, but the bed not comfortable. However, the worst was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There were stray hairs all throughout the sink, bathtub, and floor of the bathroom. I?d like to speak with somebody about a partial refund

I loved the checking in process. Also the outdoor area was absolutely beautiful. The tables, fire ring, boat docks. So serine.

Clean room and good value. Nice location on water. Management very responsive.

Wonderful view of the lake. Large clean room. Quiet. Nice restaurant (Jakes Place) on the lake within walking distance.

It was clean. It was close to the water and the beds were comfortable.

Needed a better electrical, set up to accommodate all the bass boats that needed to charge their batteries a 20 amp breaker was not sufficient for the amount of charging systems needed

Having a nice area to sit and injoy the lake was the best! Very spacious room.

The blinds wouldn't close all the way so we had to hang a blanket over them. While the beds were comfortable to sit on, not so much to sleep and add the noise from then walls we didn't get much sleep at all.

The little patio & fire pit was great!

Bed was too soft
