- Great location for Shenandoah Park and Luray Caverns Beautiful architecture Hot tub open in winter
- The ambiance was great. The restaurants were good and the people were friendly. The hotel was clean and the Circa 31 restaurant was grand. It was a peaceful and very relaxing stay.
- Delightful well maintained classic hotel. Very superior to anything in the area . Even the food in the pub was good, and I would otherwise never eat in hotel pubs.
Cons -
- Room wasn¿t cleaned very thoroughly (hair on shower walls, used shampoo bottles, dirty carpet), hot tub had used bandaids and dead leaves floating around Breakfast buffet was just soggy scrambled egg and unripe fruit Mediocre restaurant
- There wasn't a refrigerator, microwave or coffee machine in our room. But then again, it is a historical hotel.
- Minor issues with shower
