    Pros +

    • Location and breakfast was good
    • Location and extremely comfortable beds and nice assortment of pillows
    • Beautiful historical location. Did not expect what we found when we pulled up to this Hampton Inn.

    Cons -

    • The pool was a little dated. It has the old school concrete bottom that scratches you if you?re not careful.
    • I miss having individual shampoo and conditioner etc. I always wonder what is in the shared bottles or what someone could have added. An egg option without meat at breakfast would have been awesome as well. I was disappointed the omelette had ham.
    • Bathroom cabinet dated and needs replaced. Wish there had been more USB charging locations near the beds. But everything else was perfect.

The location, the atmosphere, the reuse of historic structures, and comfort of the room

Historic preservation was very interesting and it¿s quite enjoyable to stay there

Minimal parking a lot of walking for handicap people and no ramps were available made it difficult for everyone the lady over there to get to the root

    Location

Put me next to exit door very little sleep people started leaving early. Sink was clogged and barely drained

Incorporating an upscale Hampton Inn into a historic home makes this property exceptional.

The breakfast was sparse and ordinary.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-2-2022

Hotel was conveniently located, and breakfast was decent for the room rate.

The need to request cleaning threw us off, as most hotels will clean automatically. We didn't feel comfortable requesting cleaning daily and by the 3rd day the room felt like the air needed circulation.

The charm, architecture, and beauty of the property

The price for the room was too high

Staff is awesome! great welcome, good service at breakfast and pool was a plus for out daughter. Great location.

Charming hotel and great location. The only item that influenced my rating is dur to the cleanliness of the rooms. ABC of Housekeeping and the 4 cardinals sins in housekeeping "Hair"! We had too many hair issues in the bathroom.

I was hoping to have the bed with corner pillars as the picture showed on the website.

    The cat.

My family and I were able to stay on the top floor so we could sleep through the night without people above us being loud. We were there for 2 nights, and all we heard all night was slamming doors. The air would not shut off, and the toilet would not stop running. The beds were horrible, and the furniture in the room was covered in stains. Two queen beds, and you could not move around at all. Way overpriced for what you're staying in. The breakfast was scrambled eggs first morning had long blonde wavy hair in them. Just not what was advertised. My Child was looking at colleges there, so we have to go back, but I will be staying somewhere else, even if I have to drive 30 minutes out.

    Location

Floors were not clean, big tv came on by itself at 12:16 am, the light waking us up. There was some hair in the tub. The heat unit was very noisy and looked like it was coming away from the wall.

Great location, liked the fire places and period decor in the lobby
