Comfort Inn Lexington Virginia Horse Center

Easy access to town, VERY friendly staff, unpretentious, well kept-up. A very comfortable place to drop in when visiting family in Lexington.

The location

The first room assigned smelled rancid. The sink and bath water were not draining. The room we were switched smelled foul especially when turning on heater. There were ants on desk. The guy stocking bfast had bad odor and yucky feet visible in sandals.

Air conditioning didn’t work, unpainted drywall patches and smell in room.

Staff let me have breakfast before 6am since I have to on the road by 6:15.

The hotel had a bad musty smell throughout. It looked clean though.

There was a small roach-like insect in the bathtub. One of the washcloths had a discoloration and did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned.

The scones on the breakfast buffet were a different and delicious treat. No noise inside room from nearby highway.

When we checked in, we asked the girl at the front desk if there was a restaurant she would recommend that was close by. She looked at us like we were crazy. She recommended Applebees. We went to Applebee's and it was great.

My kids loved the breakfast and that we could bring out dog along to our adventure

I was told pool was open and it wasnt . And my kids really wanted to swim. That was part of the point of my trip

Our room had a horrible smell. We suspect it was from horse saddles. I reported it to two different front desk associates and they offered no solutions

The room was fine; haven't seen a room with only double beds in a long time but was comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

Breakfast was annoying -- arrived 2 minutes past the shut off time and food was still out (serving spoons had been put up) but breakfast crew just looked at me. So ... don't be late for breakfast.

Very clean rooms. Phenomenal breakfast with a lot if options for food and drinks and even condiments. Nice small pool.

Great staff and most of the hotel was very clean. Pool was so warm it was almost a hot tub. The kids loved it.

Pool patio hadn¿t been cleaned in days. Eggs were cold and watery. Dining room a little tight spaced.

Our room hadn¿t been cleaned prior to our entry. They moved us, however over the three days they didn¿t clean our room! Our garbage collected over time! Very unhappy
