    Pros +

    • Great boutique hotel Location in Olde Towne, along the Potomac River, restaurant, patio, access to local restaurants & shopping, staff.… Honestly - if you want or need more in a hotel, then just stay home instead. Hospitality - this place GETS IT!
    • The location, front desk staff, cleanliness.
    • the room was pleasant even though the handheld shower didn't work

    Cons -

    • Mold in the shower Sink stopped up from gunk and hair Blood on toilet seat as soon as we checked in Breakfast wasn’t included with stay and kitchen isn’t really plant based accommodating
    • The mandatory $25 amenity fee per day is robbery. I could get $15 per day of junk food from the lobby store and 10% off at participating stores. I declined it, but was billed anyway. Extra $75 for my stay for nothing. I will not be staying there again.
    • There was absolutely nothing I did not enjoy about this hotel. The coffee in the Hummingbird restaurant could have been better, but this is my place to stay when visiting family and friends in the DC area.

The hotel reception staff was exceptional. I checked in with a gentleman whose name I don't recall, but he was very helpful. The day person, was exceptional, too. This is a great place.

    Location

I was told by staff during phone call there is a microwave in the room, but it was not the case

    Location is perfect

Took over 20 minutes to get hot water.. staff took priority of elevator,,,,,,,,got charged for extras that were supposed to be included in reservation

We couldn?t work the tv it just kept shutting off and when we tried to use any other hdmi the tv would scream at us. Also.? I got charged more money as a overage fee because I spent more than the 15 at the market. Why am I getting a fee for spending money

Room was terrific. Staff was very pleasant. Food at Hummingbird was good.

Parking, Parking, Parking. Lot IS A DISASTER. THE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND THE PARKING ATTENDANTS ARE USELESS. Not too sure about why I needed to go get water from the water tank in the fitness center. I'd lose that idea quick. Its a bad one.

    Decor and location is ideal

The other guests were the only problems encountered,, unsupervised children and trash left in common area

They told me that they would change my room after the first night because it was a horrible room. However they did not. This happened each night and despite their promise, they did not change the room. Room looks more like a prison rather than a hotel.

    Dog friendly and great location!

Would have liked a free breakfast!

    10SusanPosted on: 7-3-2023

The bed was extra large and super comfy¿had breakfast in the on site restaurant every morning food and staff good..perfect location everything walkable

No pool or minibar in the room

    10JohnPosted on: 6-20-2023

The staff - from the front desk to the cleaning staff - were welcoming, friendly, and professional. We were there for our daughter¿s wedding at the adjoining restaurant (Hummingbird) and the staff made us feel like the hotel was our second home.

Only challenge was the parking in the garage. The parking and validation of ticket stub was confusing.

    7GeniePosted on: 8-22-2022

    The location

Staff was not friendly at all. Never looked up to greet when you entered the hotel. Parking isn¿t that great and parking attendant was very unfriendly.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-19-2022

Bed was comfortable. Location was good. It lightened my wallet.

Bath towels were from an hourly hotel. Toilet paper was lower quality than public park bathrooms. No breakfast available.Parking cost was $10 cheaper than if you were to receive a violation on the street.Elevator broke 2x Internet down 1 night Spartan ro

Location cannot be beat and boutique decor made it feel fun.

Check in was at 3 and we arrived (traveling from afar) at 2:40 and we could not get our room. Checkout was 11 and at 10:59 housekeeping was knocking on our door. We just felt very rushed. Also the room had some small things broken like the lamp.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-16-2021

The location is terrific on the waterfront and you can walk everywhere. Rooms are very nicely appointed, clean and with great amenities. And very helpful staff as well.

Could not extend our stay because they were sold out¿:(

Great! Location right there by the boardwalk. Clean and quiet. All around especially on a holiday weekend

Loved everything. Brought us complete new set of bathroom accessories when we only asked for a couple of towels

Location was fantastic; waterfront, great cafes and shops! Hotel property as pleasant and clean. Front desk staff extremely helpful and friendly.
