Pros +
- Room was clean.
- The location/view from this updated throwback motel is perfect. You are minutes from Wimberly, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, San Marcos, and even Gruene. The hotel is VERY CLEAN, staff responds quickly, and you are left to do your thing. Nice people!
- The outside surrounding area. The staff. The tranquil feel of the entire complex.
Cons -
- The room was small. The room was outdated. The bed was too soft and if I got near the edge, I had a sense that I would roll off. I expect a lot more when i pay over $--- per night.
- The Nature Trail is very much a nature trail. Plan on long pants, insecticide, etc. as its pretty overgrown. We found a better option just minutes away at the Blue Hole Park in Wimberly. WiFi is sporadic and used personal Hotspot for TV/Internet.
- I thought I had booked a room with private balcony. We didnâ≢t get the private balcony BUT ,Our view and was just as good!

location, beautiful view, quiet and friendly staff.
The hotel was located near a venue where we attended a wedding. The view from the door of our room was beautiful. The reception staff was friendly, and there were some nice snacks available. The room was very clean.
We thought the price was a little high for a basic room. We stayed in the same room for two nights, but I was a little disappointed not to have maid service in between--having the bed made and fresh towels is nice on a vacation.
The view from my balcony was beautiful and we loved the trail.
Next time i will bring a coffee pot I wake up early and the office doesn't open and make coffee until 7. My husband ran down to the gas station to get coffee.
The view
Lack of soundproofing between rooms.
Very clean, well appointed and neat. We will definitely be returning at.
