Aloft by Marriott Waco Downtown

The room size, the receptionist when I arrived was very courteous and I had called to request a room on the 1st floor due to injuries and traveling with 2 kiddos and my request was granted.

The staff was super friendly. The interior is nice and modern and the room was spectacular and super clean.

My room faced the interstate and was noisy. There was another wing that I should?ve requested away from frontage to the interstate.

The hotel doesn't provide free breakfast, nor does it have a microwave in the room. However, it is next to a bunch of restaurants and near Baylor hostels.

The bright colors and decor. The lobby was large so the multiple families in our party could sit comfortably. The first night there was a musician playing in the lobby. It was a nice surprise. The pool area was well gated and extra group seating.

How dog friendly it is, it?s modern aesthetic and cleanliness

It was clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

On a minor point, though the hotel is sort of close to downtown Waco, calling it Aloft Waco Downtown is a little misleading.

The bed was very comfortable.

There was a lot of noise from the freeway at night. I recommend bringing a noise machine if that bothers you.

Room was clean and a nice use of a small space. Bed was comfy. Good location not far from cupcakes at the Silos. ¿¿

For $--- (including tax and fees) a night in the middle of the week I probably shouldn¿t hear most of what my next door neighbor was doing. It isn¿t that difficult to put more sound barrier between rooms.

It was a cute design, modern and updated

The AC would not cool the room. Our AC was set at 65 and stayed at 75 in the room for 8 full hours. Only started cooling and got to 73 during the night. Could not even sleep with covers.

The traffic from the highway was very loud. I could not sleep. Also the ad said I was paying for two beds, the hotel only had one bed rooms at check in. The ad said I¿d get free breakfast, the front desk explained bf was not included.

Room was cold because they turn off electricity as a conservation measure. But it eventually warmed up

I enjoyed the size of the bed we had for our room, and the style of the hotel was interesting.

The food is not complimentaty, and it is pricey.

The location - we were in Waco to visit the Magnolia attractions and this hotel was an awesome location for all of that

Our room was never cleaned while we were there. I'm not sure if that is normal or not, but we were there two nights and I would have thought our room would have been freshened up (bed made, possibly new towels, etc.) while we were there, but it was not.

Clean! Nice workout room and hang out area in the lobby. We enjoyed the pool table and games! Staff was super friendly!

We were put in a room with an adjoining door. Not a problem until they filled that room as well. We could hear everything going on in the next room - it felt like a paper wall. For a $--- pricetag, it would've been nice to feel like we had more privacy.

The pool table and bar where fun. The room was functional.

The pool was small and not cleaned well. The room key having to be plugged into the wall to have electricity was annoying. The carpet was dirty.
