La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Waco Baylor Downtown

The breakfast! A variety of options for picky eaters. Location a few blocks from Magnolia Market was a plus.

I really liked the cleanliness and size of the room. My husband liked the full breakfast every morning. Plus, all the things we were there to do, were so close by.

It's not just at this hotel, rather most hotels lately... The beds are too high for me. I'm short, plus I have some mobility issues. Although the bed at this La Quinta was not as high as others we've seen, it was still a challenge for me.

Pool was a bit green in color but the spa was clear.

The staff was very friendly, and the hotel it was very clean.

The sofa in the room was very stained and dirty, and there were used soda in the fridge. Otherwise, it was fine. The pillows needed replacing, as they were very small.

The room was spacious and clean. Love the breakfast!

I was given a handicap room, but was all the way at the end of the hall! Too far for me to walk. Your staff gave me an attitude. Coffee was not good, it was bitter.

I stayed for 3 days and a change in breakfast choices for different days as in other hotels would have been nice.

Great location! Everything was very clean and staff were really friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had nice selection, but don¿t wait until close to closing time like we did!

Swimming pool was not what we expected for ¿all season outdoor¿. The pool is enclosed on 3 sides with a roof over it. One side is open to the outdoors/patio area. The pool is supposed to be heated, but not heated enough to be comfortable in March.

Easy check in with friendly staff. Very clean room. Good location. Pet friendly.

Location was close to Magnolia which was our destination. Hotel was clean.

TV were not smart, unable to watch Netflix, etc. Air conditioner didn¿t work well, and water took forever to get hot.

The only thing that was a little annoying was the music that began at 7:00 am in the breakfast area. It could have been turned down so that it didn't wake one up on the first floor. Loved the style of music, it was just too loud.

This location is relaxed yet professional; quiet yet convenient; cared for yet not uptight; and generally a sweet place to stay. Have never had such a quiet overnight experience in a Hotel so close to other activities. My Room was immaculate!

Small items: It would be great to have gluten free bread and non-dairy milk at Breakfast. Thank you!

The pool and hot tub

Dirty towels. House keeping walked in our room in the morning without knocking and me getting out the shower. Stain on sheet.

We love that the pet fee is $20 and the staff is very accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was easy to find

The rooms always seem humid and there were a couple of dead bugs by the beds. We felt our location in Baylor/downtown was overpriced for the quality of the hotel. There wasn¿t a game that weekend.

This hotel did not have hot water. I was told by staff that it will be 2 hours. Came back and no hot water for the night. I have been working and waiting on the manager to call me the past 4 days, nothing. A complete rip off. Do not stay here.

Location, location! Very clean lobby and hallways.

Hot Breakfast was very disappointing; eggs and bacon had no flavor, and the eggs were sitting in water; the blow dryer was defective ( I¿m sure they would have replaced it, but we were leaving soon).
