    Pros +

    • The hotel was really nice, the room was clean and met the needs for our travel. I enjoyed the location and it was quiet which allowed for us to get some good rest. Hotel employee at the front desk was phenomenal.
    • The esthetics and the staff. The bed was so comfortable and the hotel was clean. I love how they have the big bottle of lotion in the bathroom. The makeup towel is top tier. This room was just like the photographs. Perfect location!
    • location near river and hiking trail. Great restaurant, BLVD Steak house inside hotel. Great pools.

    Cons -

    • The only thing I did not like was the towels, they seemed like rags and not good fluffy towels. For a hotel this nice, I expected more.
    • The outside pool bar was out of a few things and they closed early due to being short staffed.
    • Ac was very cold upon arrival and room took a long time to warm up even with heat on

Location. This part of Waco is beautiful! Honestly the location was the only thing that was three stars worthy

Medicinal discriminative to cancer patients..after admitting to going through my stuff housekeeping said it's their procedure to go through a guest belongings due to a smell (that lingered on my clothes). MOD never called me. Complete lack of hospitality.

    Hot water

Room wasn't clean, No iorn nor ironing board, bed very noisy, mattress moves from headboard

    6KathrynPosted on: 6-3-2025

Comfortable beds, large rooms, nice bar

Broken reading lights with wires exposed. Broken elevator

    10ManuelPosted on: 5-15-2025

Very large, clean and esthetically pleasing room. With an amazing bathroom and shower.

    10GregPosted on: 4-23-2025

I just liked the over all atmosphere. And the rooms, showers, bedding and linens where very nice. Also the desk clerk and restaurant chef was understaffed but they both did all they could to take our order and provide us a very delicious breakfast.

Nothing negative to say. We will definitely book the Cambria agian for our next visit to Waco

Nice, clean rooms with modern styling.

The additional $9.95 fee really bugs me. The front desk said it was for ?free parking, the pools, the bars and the fitness center?. In reality, it?s just a way of charging more while advertising a low rate, and it seems shady. I won?t be back.

Exceeded my expectations and the star rating provided. The steakhouse on site was top notch. The location was ideal for walking around and dining out.

    Nope, everything was great!

I didn't appreciate the "surprise" of the $9.99 charge which was to help maintain "free parking" etc.

    10DestinPosted on: 12-17-2024

The rooms were gorgeous and the food at the restaurant was amazing!

    10CindyPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Did not have breakfast

We had a ceased salad and were disappointed in the size of the salad. 3 croutons, 2 cherry tomatoes. And a little lettuce that I had to cut up.

    6MaryPosted on: 1-19-2026

The walk in shower and separate toilet were unexpected and appreciated.

I did not like paying $9.99 in service fees for cleaning service. Although I booked through a third party, I expected to pay the agreed upon rate when I checked in.
