Days Inn by Wyndham Waco Near Downtown/University

NOTHING AT ALL... the pictures are outdated, the ratings are a joke, and the entire horrible experience is avoidable... STAY AWAY!!!

I was lied too, taken advantage of, and money was taken from me with no actual proper explanation... and to top it off I was told that my stay was cut in half! This was the most horrific experience I have ever had at a MOTEL!

Not one thing was beneficial or likable about this horrible excuse of a 'hotel' which is quite obviously misclassified!

Everything from the discrimination from the 'manager'... to the all-night parties by guests... to the beer found in the refrigerator by my 8-year-old son.... the list goes on and on... trust me!

Location

Our room was not cleaned, trash never taken out, sheets never changed, we had to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk.

The swimming pool was closed the staff there told us that our room should?ve been $--- instead of the $--- that we were charged plus it said it had an indoor pool but it was outside and it was closed the continental breakfast was terrible.was dirty

Bugs in the room, the door was broken and we had access to the outside, the location wasn?t very nice and the price crazy expensive for the quality of the hotel

We rented 4 rooms and all had crickets. My room was the worst it had over 20 crickets, some in bathtub, bathroom, waste baskets and even in my pillow case. The rooms looked decent but unfortunately the crickets and the pool under construction

I liked the room itself. And the location.

The smoke detector in my room had a dead battery. So the smoke detector chirped VERY loud at least 3 times a minute during my stay. The desk didn¿t care about how dissatisfied I was either.

There were at least 30 crickets inside the room. I understand it¿s supposedly cricket season. However, I spent the first hour trying to catch and dispose of the overwhelming about of crickets. I expected There to be a few but not that many.

Comfortable mattress, AC worked well

Toilet did not flush well. Water pressure in shower was very weak. NO HOT WATER IN THE MORNING AND NO COMPENSATION OR REAL REASON FOR THAT. Several disgusting areas on mirror need to be cleaned. Floors should be swept better.

Staff super friendly. The bed was so comfortable! The room is dated but clean. I would/will stay here again.

For the price I don¿t have any complaints.

The location to central Waco and Baylor.

The hotel was not in a safe area, it was not clean, and the staff was very limited. There was one person working the desk that was not the best at customer service.

The only convenient thing about this hotel is that is right off the highway.

Where do I begin¿ as we walked in the room the first thing we see is a cockroach running across the TV stand (disgusting!) the there was splatter of some red substance all over the floor by the table and on one of the walls and there was ants on the sink

There was no hot water. Shower did not work. Any in the bed

The water pressure was awful. The heater in the room did not put out any heat. The door's weather stripping was old and created a cold draft into the room.

The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Very comfortable room to stay in. We did not utilize the free internet or free breakfast but both were offered by the friendly staff.

Although the hotel was an older hotel that had been remodeled, the room was nice. The only downfall, for us, was how close it was located to the highway and how easily you could hear sirens and passing cars along I-35

The room. The pools. That they take pets. That they had a sundry shop. Staff was pleasant enough.

They said that I had to request for my room to be cleaned. It wasn't clean for 4 days until I knew that I needed to request. Someone should have informed me of that at the beginning. The front desk told me that it would be cleaned every 3 days. .

The price that I paid online was fair

The room wasn¿t clean yet and we arrived at 4pm to check in. The next morning , the clean up person was there at 9am we asked her to come back at 12:30pm so we would be out of the room . We arrive back at 5pm to find the room still dirty.
