Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Airport

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient.

Very clean, especially the room. I only had a few hours to sleep, but I was able to do so because of the comfort of the room and bed. The staff was very professional and nice.

Because it’s near the airport it’s very busy and noisy outside but that is no fault of the hotel. Fact is the rooms were very quiet.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were there for a 3-day basketball tournament so I needed to was uniforms every night. I was surprised that there was only 1 washer and 1 dryer for the entire hotel.

Rooms were fine, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean.

Breakfast was dismal. Very overpriced for pre-packaged food. Very little choice. Dinners weren't much better. No restaurants around except McDonalds. Ate there for breakfast the second morning.

It is relatively close to the airport and has a shuttle bus. The staff are polite and friendly. There is a pool that looked nice and a bar. The room was well equipped and comfortable once it had been changed.

Unfortunately, my room was dirty when I arrived, which wasn’t a great introduction to the hotel. There were band-aids/plasters all over the bedroom floor, a used sanitary wipe, crumbs and other dirt. The bed didn’t look well made either. The staff did however change my room when I complained. When I was told my room would be changed, I asked if they would bring my baggage to the new room or should I. They said they couldn’t enter a guest’s room so I should bring it, which is fair enough. I had a meeting and said I would do it in an hour. However, someone had been in my room. A few of the dirty items on the floor had been removed, which is fine, but the door was left ajar which meant my belongings were exposed and accessible for approximately an hour and this included my passport, cash, documents, electronics and other belongings. I requested an alarm call for 4am but this did not happen. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend Marriott based on my experience. I need to know my room will be clean, secure and hygienic. I would also like to be able to rely on alarm calls when required.

Location was pretty good. The pool was ok.

The rooms are really outdated. Also, the TV system was really poor. Kind of a bland experience.
