Best Western Port Lavaca Inn

IT WAS RIGHT ON THE MAIN STRIP, THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND ON TIME, THE OITSIDE HAD A NICE PAINT JOB THE GYM WAS IN ORDER, THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY.THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, THE PILLOWAS WERE VERY GOOD. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN.

THE CARPET NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OUT, IT HAD A VERY MUSTY SMELL. THE SMELL OF CURRY IN THE HALLWAY WAS VERY STRONG.

This is the second time we have stayed here this year, once in November and this trip. They have no hot water for bath/showers. The elevator has been out of service for at least two month's probably longer.

The location

I did not like that when I went to the front desk to inform them that there was no waffle mix, eggs, sausage, bread, fruit that I was told that she had to check guests out. No one was checking out! The manager came down to help ...he provided raw bacon.

It was physically clean and designed well enough.

Two roaches in the bathroom. Pool water was WAY too full of chlorine to get into.

Staff allowed us to change room to two queen beds. But room was warm and musty. So went back to original room with king bed and cold air.

Hotel was dated and was just painted to make it seem newer. We didn¿t even bother with breakfast. After seeing some bugs.

STAFF WAS EXCELLENT, BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT, IT WAS A LITTLE CHILLY FOR THE POOL BUT IT WAS CLOSED. IT WAS OK. OVERALL, A-1 HOTEL.

Plenty of space in the room, about 3 minutes from the beach, & a 24hr cafe close by.

Location

It was filthy. Sheets dirty, bathroom dirty, bugs in the room, smells horrible. I was afraid to turn the lights off. Just a dirty hotel not what I expected from a Best Western.

The location was the only positive thing about my stay.

I made the reservation for a room with a single king size bed. When I opened the door to the room I found it to have two Queen size beds, but I was already too tired from work and I didn¿t go complain. The shampoo dispenser was also empty.

Floors were not clean at all , every time I walked it sounded like suction cups . Finger nail clippings on the ground next to the bed in plain sight. Not enough towels. Took for ever for the ac to cool off the room.

Location is all that this hotel has going for it!

The room was extremely unclean and I will be filing a complaint. The floors were sticky and there was a dirty washcloth in the bathtub. Absolutely disgusting.

Room was very spacious (double queen bedroom). Parking lot was very well lit.

I would have to say the young lady at the front desk. I can’t remember her name but she if the one that is fixing to be a momma . She was just super friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed .

Dead roaches on the floor, wires exposed holes in the walls it was so gross... I have pictures of everything!

NO HOT water until the evening. I was uanable to bathe or shower until morning. TV worked only if you called the staff in room to fix the cable. We did not bother in a m as we didn't want staff in our room again! Unappetizing hot items on breakfast

nothing. It smelled, the door knob was dirty. I itched in the beds. I went to Victoria and the hotel I stayed at was awesome

for the money you expect to have everything perfect. Bed comforter was dirty. Phone didn't work in room. Bath tub was dirty.

Convenient location, comfortable bed, ceiling fan

The floors must have been cleaned with a dirty mop which made the room smell and there wasn't much counterspace in bathroom.

Large room

Hotel is under construction and side door where our room was located was locked had to go around to get in. The lounge chair in our room was dirty it was black filthy. Our toilet would stay running also restroom has not been updated room Paunted
