Great Western Inn Pasadena

Price was right, needed a room in a hurry as my credit cards were stolen. Hotel staff were great. building was old and weathered, but it met my needs

Great clean room, excellent value!

Continuous knocking sound coming from the ceiling in the bathroom & dripping tub faucet.

Description: $--- includes tax for a non-smoking double queen. The front desk contested that the price is for a single & attempted to charge more for a full double with Burn holes in sheets & dirty room & towels. I said I'd complain to you all.

Cleaning lady not using a walmart cart to clean rooms and mixing old and new towel on same basket.

Location was the best part.

Manager tried to charge me 2 times for the room, stained sheets, bugs in room, floors very uneven, remote did not work for the tv/

Management is extremely vigilant about parking lot security and guest behavior. Proactively handling problems before they start.

Lots of homeless in surrounding area. Not nice ones.

Terrible service.... I didn't stay, and of course it was too late for me to cancel. So I had to pay ....

I paid on line with my bank card and received a conformation number. The clerk WOULD NOT give me my room with out my paying for it again. I did not give him my card to swipe, so, no room. He walked away, I walked out. I got charged for for room any way.

Good location and price

It had bed bugs and when I told the manager he was rude and don't want to give me another room or a refund so after 30 minutes of arguing he finally gave me another room and the a/c didn't even work but I was so frustrated I stayed there anyway.

It was close to my job

It's next to a run down building and the AC unit did not work in my room

Cheap price

Room needed to be cleaned so he put us in another room, the door wouldn't lock right and the towels were hard and stiff. The management wasn't very friendly either.

everything else it was a nonsmoking room.. it smell like cigarette...there was only two towels..the tv had no remote..overall the hotel look pretty run down

What a mistake! Towels were soiled, hard/scratchy; bathroom floor was soiled/grout was urine stained; nasty, stained bedsheets; brown smears on bathroom wall !? Slept in my clothes, too late to find another place. Mgr didn't care about my complaints!

Room too hot and bad smell and one I got there the manger gave me another price higher

The "cable" was pathetic n the water in the shower wasn't good at all

Dirty room, bugs everywhere, stains on bedsheets, TV had 7 working channels, wifi was unreliable, management was rude (banged on our door 30 mins before check out & told us to leave - blamed it on daylight savings & rain), overall a terrible experience

It is centrally located along Spencer Hwy minutes from Deer Park, Houston, South Houston. Convienent to local grocery stores, food fair, regional, state and natiomal resteraunts, and Strawberry Park. Hotel also allows Bar-B-Que/grilling.

Walls are a bit thin, but hotel is going through a remodel. TV' s receiver was not present. This could be from the room's recent remodel, just an oversight and definitely not a deal breaker for me.
