Location and pricing was very appropriate for this room. Check-in and Check-out was very easy

This was an older facility. They are doing improvements and remodels on the facilities. It was not a problem, but there is a lot of construction going on.

The lizard that entered our room, and the fact that we checked out early and could not get a refund?

We were right in the middle of everything tourist attracted....Gruene Winery and shopping, Comal River and Schlitterbahn, the New Braunfels River. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. the helpful friendly staff, not to mention the amenities.

The only thing I didn't like was housekeeping. It could have used a pass of the swifter duster in some areas of the room and more elbow grease to remove footprints on the tub floor.

I am completely satisfied about this hotel. The location, facilities and the staff were perfect and so gentle! Thank you!

Facilities, location, decoration is inspiring

The suite was very mediocre and plain. The mattress had a large sag in the middle and old. Not a $200 room.We thought they had a restaurant but it was only a yogurt fruit cup for sale at breakfast.

Brandy and Isabella were excellent host. Initial arrival and check in was great. End of stay was horrible and we will not be staying there again.

12 days after the fact!!! I accidentally left some very valuable and sentimental jewelry under my pillow in room 28. We checked out and drove 6 hours until we realized we left our jewelry. I called and left voice message and text and emails and had no response the day of. The next day I finally spoke to a rude and unprofessional staff receptionist named Bryan. I reached out over text, and phone calls for 2 days after checking out. Ryan seems to be the actual person responding to reviews and text messages and emails. He turned out to be awful to communicate with. The unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy or concern was appalling. Nothing he said he was going to do was done. I was completely lied to and completely disregarded and his responses were such that he was bothered by my calls and messages. He even had the nerve to hang up on me twice after I requested to speak to Isabella and Brandy who were our host. They are the only staff members that should be working there!!I finally spoke to the GM, Justin that next evening and he said he would personally assist me and contact me. Which never happened. says that because they were so booked that they could not devote any time to check my room or cleaning service department and/or the laundry room for my jewelry. This is what he said he would do the first-day I spoken to him! When he specifically told me he was going to personally check with his cleaning crew, the hotel room and he even said that he would check the laundry room himself. He said he suspected the linens were all swept up and placed in 1 of 3 bins. And he thought the jewelry was loaded with the linens. Justin said he was going to call me by the next day, which never happened!!!! I had a gold necklace and gold cross along with a black necklace and a wedding band under my pillow. I texted 7 days later and all I got was, "the investigation continues". There are no security boxes or safes in the room, and no other way to store valuables.

Staff, food drinks, location and cute place

No outlets near bed, had to get an extension cord for my husband's cpap machine. The AC rattled very loudy keeping me awake for the better part of the night. When I told the front desk in the morning a played a recording of the noise they offered me a complimentary coffee.... spent over 300 for room, food and drinks for one night, definitely not worth the money.

Location on the river was really lovely! Cool concept of the hotel.

Important to note the room is very basic in terms of quality of everything, beds, towels, etc., and there was no drinking water in the room or filtered water in the clubhouse.

It was very relaxing during a busy business week.

The ac needed to be cleaned or exchanged. It was full of mold, maintenance tried to clean it but it was a superficial clean. I had a headache while I was in the room

Location was great. Staff helpful and pleasant. Lots to do around the facility.

There were very few lamps and no light. The bathroom barn door had no handle and the door was heavy so made it tricky not to slam fingers. The paper cups that were provided were flimsy and not enough. No ice bucket. The facility is new so we know things will get ironed out. Just a few tweaks. The room was a little dirty. I look forward to coming again as they work out quirks and will recommend to others.

Very limited breakfast compared to other lodgings.

Was given a room near highway. Difficult to sleep. Couldn’t get TV to work. No one available to help. Cannot reach staff directly. You only get the people answer who are not at the facility. No direction on how to operate shower knobs.

Brilliant location, staff we welcoming and just fabulous! Late check in was super easy

Would have been good to be able to get even just some water / snacks - I arrived at 9:30 pm and as reception was closed unable to get a bottle of water or a bite of something

Wonderful staff

A labeled check in area and better markings on buildings, possibly with posted numbers with the house name. A table in the rooms to place food or drink on while eating.

Visit begins with a greeting from Lara at check in to being offered a coffee at check out. The recently remodeled room was great. Just as great as the room was all employees !

The pool was very nice and the bar inside the clubhouse was a perfect addition. There was so much for the whole family to do from swimming to volleyball to live music.

Great location—right on the banks of the Guadalupe river. Very old hotel that has had a fantastic renovation! Great clubhouse and grounds. Highly recommend!

Beds are very low to the floor.

New favorite hotel in New Braunfels! Ownership has completely renovated this hotel, and the updated rooms, bar, pool area are 10/10. Nothing quite like it in the area and SUPER affordably priced, will definitely return! :)
