    Pros +

    • I liked that it was old school. The room was also very big, as was the tv.
    • We are traveling on Route 66 and we just liked the feel of the setting and the room. Angela, the owner is very helpful and has done a great job restoring the inn. The Red River Restaurant is next door and the Devil's Rope Museum is just down the street.
    • Very cute 66 themed rooms! Clean! Sweetheart owner, artistic! Excellent location! Our Kansas room was very cool/ pretty! Homey, comfy.

    Cons -

    • Poor water pressure in the shower. The room was in need of repair. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom peel and stick tile was coming off.
    • Everything was great.
    • When I arrived and gave my name, the young man just handed me a key. That’s it! Then the first room was freezing and when I went to the thermostat, the heater never came on, so we had to move to another room.

Toilet paper was in holder backwards making it awkward to get off roll. There was not box of tissue so I had to fight the toilet paper roll again. I couldn't take a shower there wasn't any adjustment to find the cold water and the hot water was scalding hot. I worked with it for 10 minutes and gave up.

    It was clean and cozy.

There was very little water pressure and the water was so hard it was almost impossible to wash our hair.

Funky, classic Route 66 hotel. Very small and feels very homey. The place where you have a cocktail in the parking lot with two guests you just met. A very good steakhouse next door. Super helpful staff, Casey was so helpful.

Very cute and cozy hotel. Absolutely recommend it. Huge rooms, I was staying with my 3 kids and a cat and we have lots of space for all of us. The sunset was gorgeous.

The heating in our room didn’t work and they don’t serve any breakfast.

A classic Route 66 hotel. Living in NM, we like old Rt 66. It's been updated and was great. I loved the cowboy decor and that Yuge cactus sign. The ladies in the office couldn't have been friendlier! The steakhouse next door was excellent. As I mentioned, I live in NM. We claim green chile stew as our own. They made some of the best I ever had. All in all a great stay! Stretch your boundaries a little, don't always stay in the big chains.

It’s a cute place. It was very nostalgic. Pet friendly was important for us. Check in was a breeze and Christina even made a special trip to bring me a blow dryer.

    It could use some Updating.

Vintage, great room design, very clean, complimentary water and popcorn, fridge, microwave and coffee in room, easy access to 40. Staff was very friendly and had my room ready early (2:00)

Not much access to restaurants- actually the only one available on a Monday is the “truck stop” which is a convenience store w a grill where you can get a burger or quesadilla. The Cactus Rose in town only has alcohol and snacks.Typical tiny town. If you need more access to food, better off staying a bit farther down the road at a larger town

Nice room and very convenient parking. Comfortable bed and coffee in the room.

Was unsure of this small, older motel in a very small town. But the room was very tidy and well decorated with fun memoribilia on historic route 66, a good size for 3-4 people and very clean and well maintained.

one of the electric sockets didn't work. But not unexpected in an older motel

We arrived fairly late in the evening to the Inn and the owner had kindly left the key and a note for us in the safe deposit box in case she wasn't around when we got there (she was and was very welcoming)The room was comfortable and clean. Bottles of water and microwave popcorn were provided which was a lovely touch. One of the nicest motels we stopped at on our road trip.
