- Location
- It was a convenient location.
- Staff was very helpful and accommodating. You can tell the hotel is older but very well taken care of. I ended up having to change rooms after checking in due to wet carpet in the first room, most likely from A/C unit. Second room was great!
Cons -
- Pool was not heated and had ceiling tape comming loose and black mold in the corner.
- Day one- bug in the bathtub. The next day we had to change rooms due to our reservations. The third evening we could not get into our room as our keycard would not work. There was NO ONE at the front desk for 20 minutes. We just sat and waited.
- Prices in Lubbock were high during our stay due to Texas Tech move in. I would normally expect a much nicer hotel when paying as much as we did.

Staff was great.
There is mold in the ceiling for the pool and hot tub area. The ladder is broken and is a safety hazard. Floor tiles in our room #205 were loose and the broken grout hurt our feet. Lots of serious maintenance items.
