Spanish Trails Inn - Laredo Hotel

There was nothing wrong with this hotel. Close to the highway, well lit parking lot, the room was clean and nicer on the inside than expected. We're a band - late check in, late arrival.

same thing I say about all hotels -- I'd love to see NO plastic and Styrofoam used. That stuff just winds up in our oceans.

It does not belong ad a 2.5 star hotel. Maybe 1.5star. Staff was ok. The location is not one I'd recommend for family or couples. My wife almost busted her head on the slippery bathtub. My son slipped as well. The walls are thin. Not worth the $80.

Nothing was good, I was given a smoking room. My original booking was at SureStay Hotel by Best Western Laredo but there was no room available there.

My room was supposed to be non smoking and was given a smoking room as my booking was at SureStay Hotel by Best Western Laredo and this place was full. Booking number R335142.

It is the worst hotel ever, even worst than the o es I stayed when I was young. It was dirty, noisy, things were broken, never stay in this hotel!

Hotel convenient

Room smelled like marijuana. Room had dirty towels still in it. Toilet did not flush and shower did not drain.

Soft bed. Nice room for the price. Comforter needed some cleaning.

Bathroom to small. Legs would rub toilet every time I used the sink. No security. Access to any to walk up to cars and doors

This property although close to shopping and restaurants is more geared to truckers. I travel alone (female) and did not feel comfortable arriving to my room at night. Men were outside by the pool and I understand they ate unwinding but were very loud and it just made for an uncomfortable experience. I did not feel safe leaving my room for ice or even the lobby to get a snack. I did notice they have plenty of cameras but they also don’t have someone constantly monitoring them.

The warm reception. Only been there a couple of times, but felt welcomed. Love tge price. Really loved my room.

The signal doesn't propagate all the way to the room.Also, during my 3-night stay there were lots of issues with my room key. Had to go to the front desk and ask them to open the room with physical key numerous times.

They had breakfast. There was a fridge and microwave in the room.

This place had many good reviews but I was very disappointed. I've paid about same price for much nicer places. We stayed in a lot of rooms on our 1.5 month road trip and and this was the worst. We noted on bathroom floor was partially wet. Were told was recently cleaned. And it smelled musty as well. We tried another room and it also had a smell. The bathroom is tiny and difficult to close door for privacy with it's design. We didn't feel comfortable to even take a shower. We just wanted to get away early the next day. The place was dated as well. Didn't look dirty just felt creepy since there was such a smell. I had prepaid on a booking.com site so couldn't cancel. We were tired as well from our long drive but I'm not normally a complainer.

I'm staying at this Hotel a lot ! Excellent place, great staff, clean , comfortable beds.

The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Shower and floors were clean.

Breakfast stopping at 9 am which seems to be the norm in this area. Curtains needed to be cleaned.
