Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Dfw Airport South/Irving

I picked the hotel because it has a 24 hour shuttle. (Both shuttle drivers and the front desk lady were very nice people, this hotel is just grossly understaffed so I wouldn?t recommend staying if you have a short turn around like we did)

It took almost 2 hours to get picked up and get our rooms. The hotel only had one staff member (she was SUPER nice), so we had to wait almost an hour to get our room. Also, the shuttle took an hour to pick us up and get us to the hotel.

Nice breakfast - good selections.

Cleaning staff entered our room before we had checked out. They even moved items around. This was VERY upsetting!! Cleaning staff should NOT enter a guests room until the guest has checked out at the front desk, and turned in their keys!!

This was a special trip for my husband and I to relax and sleep in away from our kids. The housekeeping staff beat on our door at 830 am and barged in. Then we were up for the day. I was pissed. The pillows suck as well.

I booked the room a day ahead of time. Upon arrival they could not find the reservation and was told we would have to wait an hour even after I showed my confirmation. I had to book and pay for another room and was told they would work on the issue

Clean and trendy bedroom area with nice finishes. Nice staff.

No soap in shower. Small and dark bath and vanity areas.

We stay here quite a bit, staff changes. The staff this trip was mediocre. The lady serving breakfast was mot wearing her mask. The hotel is very clean, nice atmosphere, comfortable rooms.

I like that it and the room was clean and Covid 19 conscious (Breakfast is served to you rather than buffet style). It has a shuttle that will take you up to 5 miles from the hotel. It is near the airport, Wal-Mart, and other restaurants and businesses.

The bed. Hotel room had mildew smell and had to switch rooms. For a non smoking hotel it smelt like marijuana in the hall ways. Bathroom door was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Shower head wobbles back and forth. Smallest toilet and room ever rented out

There was a $100 hold out on my credit card that I was told would fall off when I checked out. I found out the next day that the transaction would not “expire” and I would not have access to the $100 charged on my card for another 8 days.

I liked that the full breakfast was still available, but would have liked a grab and go option.
