Motel 6 Irving, TX - Irving DFW Airport South

Quite, clean and excellent communication.

The staff were really nice.

I did not like that there were homeless people around the motel and the sheets had stains.

The staff, while perfunctory, was at least reasonably efficient at checking us in.

Much of the hotel was under construction, resulting in significant dirt and dust everywhere. Our room was one of the worst I¿ve ever seen, with stains on the wall, portions of the bathroom that were literally falling apart and holes in the comforter.

Looked like the usual refurbished Motel 6 room plus microwave + fridge. Friendly staff you had to ask for wash clothes. Manager explained EVERYTHING on check in. He is experienced & good at it. I would stay there again.

This one should be called Hotel 6 as it was a hotel previously. You can't park in front of your door. We were there during the floods & there weren't many people staying there so we did park near the entrance very near our room. Not the best neighborhood.

Location and the friendly service.

The enourmous gap in the door that allowed every one walking by to see into my rooms when the door was closed.

Remodel was updated and cleaned. Enjoyed our stay.

Everything was good

The room/bathroom was clean. Staff were courteous and responsive to issues.

Only bar soap is provided, bring your essentials. No hair dryer. May have been able to request these, but did not. Smells of cigarettes in hallway.

Location was great. Definitely a no frills hotel.

Rooms are very plain, but we just needed a place to rest before a very early flight.

Convenient location

Vending machine out of order. Parking area not cleared of snow and no sand put down to cover ice.

Location was great. The staff were helpful and considerate. The hotel is very modern and extremely well kept. I was very impressed.

Close to the airport and right behind two burger places for a quick meal. Used as emergency booking due to flight cancellations. The staff was helpful at check in

Stains and hair on mattress sheet

Flight canceled and this was one of the only rooms available, very basic but was clean and cheap.

The hotel had immaculate housekeeping. I appreciate their upkeep during my stay.

Not the hotel's fault but the traffic and construction that was going on not far from it. Made it hard to get out of the area⁸

It was clean. Comfortable, good location.

Had issues with the TV. Couldn't get any channels to work. Switched rooms and the T.V. In that room had issues getting a good signal for local channels.

This location was so clean, probably one of the best motel 6 I been to. This place has a good location with so many restaurants in walking distance. Also location will be better in future as they are building heb right next to it. This location also had a fridge and microwave which is awesome if you buy drinks and want to keep them cold or to heat up leftovers.

I think only downside might be that the location is near highway and the windows don't seem to block of sound so good.

They ran out of towels, and the tv didn’t work. I was told the tv was complimentary and didn’t have to work.

It was within walking distance of a CVS, Burger King, and McDonalds.

It wasn’t the best neighborhood to be walking at night. There is no a/c in the main lobby when entering the facility. The floor in the room was dirty and little pieces of grit was sticking to the bottom of our feet. The room had a king sized bed and was reserved fir a party of two, yet there was only one washcloth on the bathroom.

Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet. Very clean with comfortable beds. Good central location for events and getting in and out of the city. Will stay there again. We were traveling with two small pets and it was perfect for them, too.
