    Pros +

    • Hotel employee at the front desk was a pleasure to work with…friendly, polite, and smart! She helped make my check in seamless.
    • Great location. Clean. Great complimentary breakfast, including pancake chef.
    • As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a woman, I wish I could remember her name, she had all black diamond rimmed glasses. ? and it was about 11pm on July 11th. She welcomed us as if we were family coming down to stay with her! She was amazing!

    Cons -

    • I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and the notorious surge pricing was excessive.
    • Availability to cash non-existent. No ATM and all transactions by card.
    • It was very warm, I would even say hot. The room wouldnt stay cool. Definitely overpriced for what it is. And I was charged once when booking and then again after checkout. They still havent refunded me yet, its been 4 days.

Breakfast was fantastic! I have a kiddo with a metabolic disorder and for the first time, there were options for everything available to him. He was in heaven.

Was in a great location to downtown

The bathroom towels, etc. we¿re just very cheap quality compared to the rest of the facility. Wouldn¿t keep me from staying there again, but certainly the one thing that was not like the rest.

The building and common areas were nice.

Disappointing. Our room was not what we were expecting. There were water damage stains on the ceiling and every bathroom wall. The shower and bed had hair in them like they weren't cleaned. The room had ants. Shades on the window were broken.

Breakfast is the best- always fresh cooked healthy options/ yogurt bar

Lighting in the room is not good

Since I was a female staying alone, I was happy with the security features such as having to have a room key to get on the elevators.

Close to Baylor hospital could walk back and forth

Breakfast was very disappointing, the changes are most likely do to covid restrictions. $23 to park outside for two nights

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-30-2020

The cleanliness was a big positive.

The water pressure in the bathroom was not good at all, very weak. Also having to pay $10 to park each day I thought was pretty ridiculous considering they have their own parking lot with more than adequate spaces available for room ratio.

Upon checking in we were told that we were upgraded due to room availability and assigned to a suite with a kitchen.

The kitchen wasn’t clean. The microwave, refrigerator and stove all had grime on them. The floor had hair and dirt. We checked in on a Saturday and due to COVID19 couldn’t get housekeeping to come clean our room until Friday!

    The cleanliness and decor

I got a room with a broken door and got locked In but the staff got me out and into another room in a timely manner & I was ok with that

    The lobby looked good

The hotel wouldn’t let me check in because my card didn’t have a chip and I’ve been having this card for almost a year and and stayed around the United States of America and I never had a problem with the card

the layout of lobby and pool area was very good.

the day time front check in lady was very rude and clearly does not know this industry. She did a great job making our stay unpleasant,

    Location

Spent the night there to relax and woke up with multiple insect bites.

    10TaurusPosted on: 5-1-2020

Had a great location. Very charming.

Since it was during the COVID-19, I was unable to get fresh towels and linen and i was their for 4 nights. My microwave nor refrigerator worked at all

The hotel was beautiful, quiet, and location was perfect right in the middle of Dallas close to everything possible.

No room service so had to clean up an accident I had myself and change bedding as well!

Absolutely beautiful property in an upcoming gentrified/revitalization area of midtown dallas..

COVID created some problems with the brands services, breakfast..etc but not their issue.

    10JenniferPosted on: 11-26-2019

    Location, decor, and breakfast.

There was a bag over something in our room and we never figured out what it was.

    4SeanPosted on: 10-30-2019

Room advertised as having King bed and did not. Upon leaving a response to a survey the manager emailed back and was in no way apologetic but insinuated I was unable to tell a Queen bed from a King. The front staff was friendly and helpful the night of.

That what was being advertised as a King bed was in fact a queen.
