Hotel employees made us feel great about our choice for our 25th Anniversary/the staff here is so happy and professional

Location, walkability, the history and character of the building, staff always helpful, spacious rooms

Parking is $45 per night which is excessive in general, but especially for a non-downtown hotel

Convenience

$45 per night for parking is ridiculous and should be disclosed in the price of the room when booking, also when the venue has a wedding or other event booked some of the amenities are closed to the non attending guests which I feel is unfair.

I have always loved the Melrose! The restaurant...delicious! Love the historic feel of the hotel.

Room furnishings could use updates.

A little heads up on the MANDATORY VALET PARKING of $45 per night. It doesn?t say that on the listing.

Room was nice sized, bed was comfortable, shower was nice.

Our upgraded corner room was okay. Friends in lesser rooms had larger rooms.

Great valet, parking attendance. The library experience was awesome. The main lobby is impressive. And the room decor was incredible.

Cigarette butts all over the ground on the front of the building, subpar, wait staff/food the restaurant, peeling paint on the exterior, unacceptable check out, attempted to charge me for an exorbitant amount of mini bar missing items I didnt even touch.

Location was great and our shuttle driver was very accommodating and friendly.

Coffee cup was dirty in the room but was changed out quickly.

Very charming room, comfortable bed, and allowed me to check in early.

When I arrived there were dishes and food piled in front of my door; had to step over them to get into my room. I thought perhaps it was because they allowed me to check in 90 min early...but no, it remained there for the next 21 hrs until check out.

The Library (the bar) is a lovely place to meet, the pool is a beautiful place to find peace, and the staff is ALWAYS SO nice.

i just LOVED the entire ambiance of this landmark hotel. The staff was by far the easiest to work with! Linens, pillows, shower, and room extras couldn't have been more perfect! Loved food options-A GORGEOUS library lounge and 24/7 food service

location was good

the walls were thin and we had an adjoining room so could hear a lot from neighbors. other than that, it was a nice experience.

It's hard to pick what we liked best. Overall everything was great. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom is very nicely updated. We also had a great time listening to live music at the hotel bar, The Library.

If I must say something, the water pressure in the bathroom sink was quite low. Valet was pricey, but it was very convenient the ability to request your car from your phone in the comfort of your room.

Staff was friendly, fast and free wifi, great location.

Rooms are decent sized and bathrooms beautifully updated. Amenities such as pool and onsite complementary chair masseuse were great. Hotel bar is a fun scene with tasty cocktails.

Age of building showed in the elevator (somewhat slow) but manageable.

The location was okay for the general area we had activities planned.

No refrigerator in room, outside noise in the halls at night was bad. You can hear airplanes all the time. The staff wasn¿t helped. It took 1.5 days after calling three times for a roll away bed for my young kid. Then two more calls for sheets.

The hotel is very clean and looks great. Staff is friendly and the location is very convenient.
