Pros +
- I loved the view from my room. All rooms at either on the 49th or 50th floor. I loved the kitchenette, the microwave also had a convection cooking option so you could cook a meal if you wanted. Great fridge as well. Nice shower, good sized bathroom.
- This hotel was perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. It gave me a home like feel and the view was AMAZING. I¿m so sad that the first time I¿d traveled to Texas I didn¿t choose The Mint. The view from the 49th floor was beautiful.
- The 50th floor city view was phenomenal. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I would stay here again.
Cons -
- I didn?t like having to go up three banks of elevators but once you got use to it it wasn?t so bad. I didn?t necessarily like the ?closet? it?s more of a hanging unit with a couple of drawers. You?ll need to hang up most of your items for longer stays.
- Parking is limited. I was lucky to have found a spot in the garage (have to pay for in and out per night) but I was skeptical because there¿s only few spots for hotel guest and they are not labeled. You have to park where it is not reserved.
- A mandatory background check for a hotel stay was a bit unusual.

Location and accommodations
The shower head goes straight instead of spraying downward causing water to hit the back wall and making the floor wet.
Nobody was working the desk when we checked in, and when we did get a hold of someone they gave us they wrong keys to our room, then we had to find them again. Terrible service
Location was perfect for our needs. We were blocks away from our concert venue and restaurants
Sterile and cold - modern and sleek. My preference is more cozy and homey. Staff is non- existent. The one we did see was courteous though.
It was a beautiful, spacious room with a perfect view of the city.
Views were amazing - liked the boutique feel. Also liked having access to the restaurant and bar on the 48th floor.
More amenities there is no much to do
The staff on the site is not helpful
The room and location
All the amenities and the location
Very stylish, practical, and in the perfect location for our travels.
I would have like more insight on stuff near by...The restaurant...ect.
We stayed here because of the location, just a 5 min. Drive to the concert venue.
Room was great, check-in experience was better than expected, the staff was very helpful in getting us into our room. Parking situation was explained very thoroughly and went smoothly. Very spacious bathroom, bed was comfortable. View from room was very cool at night.
Very noisy all night long due to proximity to lounge area. I wasn't expecting the continued noise levels well into the early morning (3 AM). I would recommend establishing some sort of quiet hours- I understand it being the weekend people want to enjoy themselves but it made it very difficult to sleep.
Room was nice and comfortable
The iron in the room put dark brown all over my husbands shirt and he had to wear another to the event we were going to. We got stuck in the elevator. In the middle of the night, there was a very loud scratching noise like an animal was in the air conditioner vent. It woke us up fast and we hurry and put a light on because it sounded like it was in our room.
i
i didn't like the instructions they were kinda of unclear on check in and in the room we should have the availability of the restaurants and different amenities in the hotel. Also i know the room was for more modern but it would be nice if the plugs were updated to fit type c chargers and adapters as the world of technology is evolving.
Location, view, room , cleanliness
I was pleasantly surprised that the rate I received on Booking.com was so low. It's always a safe space for me to commute back to after a night out with colleagues.
I had asked 3 different staff members how to get to Main Street. None of them could tell me. I asked the same 3 if they knew where Hampton Social was....none of them heard of it. I walked all the way around 2 blocks to finally arrive at my destination. Which was across the street from the Eyeball. Literally a 3-minute walk that took me close to 20. Also, there was only 1 bag of regular coffee in the room, no stirrers. And then the coffee pot didn't even brew the coffee on day 2.
The location and view was great.
The first room I was given didn't have a working refrigerator and the air conditioner didn't work. Then I was moved to another room that had no TV remote and most of the lights in the bathroom didn't work.
The bathroom is big, great shower with hot water. The fitness room is great, once you can find it.
I was not warned until a few days before arriving that no one would be here to let me in. So I arrived from Mexico, exhausted, hungry, just 2 hours before checkin and there was no one to talk to, no food, no place to leave luggage, no bathroom, nothing. It's just a building lobby with elevators. I finally called Kasa and someone in the Philippines tried to help, but it was not good enough. Luckily a restaurant in the building was open and I could order food even though they were closing the kitchen. It was super freezing and icy outside, the crazy storm, so I couldn't so to a coffeeshop or something to wait. Bad system. Also - I was there for work but there was no desk in my room, which was meant to be included. VERY bad. I'm working on a pillow to make my computer high enough.
