Hampton Inn & Suites Childress

I’m a truck driver, so it was right next door to a pilot truckstop which made it convenient for me to get and back from my truck easily

Their indoor swimming pool was out of service because of water shortage at the moment the breakfast was not all that great. It was like your basic whatever the room layout was kind of awkward.

The bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable.

There were multiple and obvious shards of broken green glass on the floor when entering the door. You could not, as a room cleaner, miss them. Lots, and large-to-small. There were bugs all throughout the room ("roly-poly bugs") Bathroom grout ugly&missing

The cleanliness and the wide selection of food availability at breakfast

The fact that the indoor pool was not in service and available for us to use was a big disappointment.There is a truck stop across from the hotel and all night long all you could hear was the air brakes of these large trucks.

TV reception is HORRIBLE!!! Location suck, everything is closed at 10pm on a SATURDAY!??! NO FOOD AFTER 10PM.

Very nice hotel.

Breakfast was horrible. They did not replenish any eggs,hash browns and sausage. They only had cereal.

The bed was comfortable and the room spacious and arranged very homey and cute¿ different than most hotels!!!

There was some toothpaste stuck in the drain when we walked in to the bathroom¿. But not a big deal¿. Otherwise great!!!

The room was mediocre. Nothing special.

I stayed at this hotel on our trip so my granddaughters could swim. When we got there, the pool had no water in it and it was closed

The floor in front of the couch was wet. We paid for a suite and got a large room with a table extending for the tv out into the room with an office chair at the end of it. It separated the room and you had to go around it. TV would not work properly.

The hotel was close to my niece's home. She has moved, and I sincerely doubt that I will stay there again.

There was no hot water during our entire stay. The response was "Oh yeah, they're working on it."

The Beds were comfortable and the Breakfast was good.

The Hot tub and Pool were both cold. The Elevator went out that night and was not working all morning. Had to bring everything down 3 flights of stairs. I have a lot of stuff. Found a piece of pizza lift in the fridge. TV was not clear at all.

Unfortunately it¿s the same complaint every where. Not enough staff at the hotel. We waited about 15 minutes at the front desk waiting for someone to show up, and no one ever came. Other people were waiting to purchase items from the store, and left.

Alarm clock went off at 6:00 am and housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:15 am and didn¿t hear us,so opened the door. There was no do not disturb sign for us to use. Check out was 11:00

The location was safe and quiet. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was stocked well. The indoor pool and fitness room were also clean and not crowded. This was a pleasantly good stay.

I didn¿t have any negative experiences during this stay.

The staff was exceptional

Cleanliness in the bathroom was below average. Dust on shelves was very thick and bottom of shower doors around the caulk was moldy. Rest of the room was in order.

Great location, perfect setup for travelers, staff was super helpful, room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well communicated.

For the price paid, I expected more. The heater and the bathroom fans were incredibly loud and annoying. The continental breakfast was terrible. And there was a non-refundable $50 pet fee, which is absurd. The price should be closer to ---/night.

I appreciated how clean the hotel was and that it has a good breakfast.

The bed was hard and not what I was expecting. Also, there isn't much parking for people with a trailer in tow.

No shampoo in room. Cable TV did not work. Front desk attendant at check in was more concerned with his cell phone than greeting customers.
