Joshua Creek Ranch

Hotel was wonderful. Only problem was no new towels or coffee our second morning.

Staff members gave different answers to dining questions. We were surprised when I was told we would receive an invoice to check, then opened bank statement to find they had already taken money out before we were even told how much meals were.

Check in Staff was rude. Did not mention the comment room was available. For extra things. Such as the coffee maker , refrigerator, microwave. Very unaware of the clay shooting 100 feet from room.

The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, this issue was out of their controlThey tried to be helpful but to no avail

We arrived at 4 pm from driving all day to get there. We were told there was not restaurant or bar . We were told when we booked, our check in time was 4 . If we would have know that they did not serve dinner or drinks, we would not have stayed here . After we were told this when we arrived, we left to find another property . I would like a refund for the price of the room, we were not told all the details when we checked in online .

A niche facility for bird hunters, a bit pricey, but worth it for a relaxing stay. Go during the week, as it is packed on the weekends. Fall and early winter are the major seasons (bird hunting season), but a relaxing stay for non hunters too.

Very nice facilities and friendly staff.My son had a great time attending the Orvis flyfishing school.The ranch has a nice pool, relaxation area and is nearby Boene and other nice places.

Staff was extremely accommodating, courteous and professional.I did not eat but will plan on it next time.

Beautiful! Quiet and had everything you need! Rooms are a bit small but the common areas help a lot.

Bar drinks at the pool were made completely wrong. I ordered two margaritas and got 2 ranch waters for $45. A bit disappointing but that’s okay

The grounds are simply beautiful! It was so peaceful. We sat out in the porch and had our coffee.

I wish the room was large enough to have a chair in it. I also wish they weren’t shooting so close to the lodge so early in the morning.

Room was way too small for the price and my daughter was misled on the common room use to prep for her bridesmaids.

It was very pretty and clean.

Our room was not as advertised. We paid for a deluxe king room and it was two twin beds pushed together.

We love the scenic view, private and clean room room, facilities and activities and natural beauty of the property. Its a wonderful place to unwind and relax.

The dining breakfast menu did not include healthy choiceoptions. Additionally, there is no fitness facility or GYM and SPA for the women.

Like the pool area and the grounds. Did not partake in the shooting sports but they look appealing.

Room was a little on the small size. Bathroom and shower were small with the sink in the sleeping area. Water pressure was not adequate.

Everything from the staff, the facilities, and the amenities were excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

The beds in the Englishman room were small in my opinion. I’m 5 foot 10, so of average height, and I found the bed to be small. Also found it to be way too soft, but that’s a matter of opinion.

Location was a mixed bag - it's in the middle of nowhere which gave solitude/quiet but also made it hard to go and come since there is no food option on site (unless you pre-order). It is 20 minutes on small country roads from Boerne and 30 minutes from Kerrville, the closest towns with shopping/eating options.

The room was smaller than expected without a desk, closet, dresser, or place to put a suitcase. The bathroom was tiny with only a shower. Lighting was very weak and there are no windows so room was dim. In addition, the cost of about $200 puts it in the category of much nicer options.

Breakfast was not available on Monday or Tuesday. But, the breakfast served on Sunday was great.

There is no mini fridge in the room. This would have been helpful since the remote location meant we had to travel a ways out to get food.

The long haus rooms are tiny and cramped. Not worth the price. The day room for the long haus was full of ants which we just happened to bring home with us. Would recommend Tapatio springs for anyone going to Boerne Texas this time of the year.
