Sweetgrass Inn Bed & Breakfast

I loved the outside seating and you could walk to the restaurant with outdoor seating. The breakfast included was excellent the staff was friendly and the location was only 20 minutes from Rushmore and other sights. Highly recommend!!!!

The breakfast was awesome! I didn't expect to be able to order off the menu; I thought they'd have one or two items to choose from, but there were lots of options.The room had everything you needed and then some! They provided plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. I loved the complimentary bottles of water and snacks. The sheets and bed were super soft and comfy.

Everything was great; absolutely no complaints.

Wonderful couple own the Sweetgrass .We enjoyed hearing about their plans for the BnB. We will stay there in the future.

Just watch your head if you're staying in the upstairs 'lodge' room. The ceiling side beams are pretty low.

The hotel is in great location, very friendly and great breakfast. The owner went out of his way to accommodate and please us to get what we need. I recommend this place to all travelers.

I didn’t see anything that I didn’t like.

We stayed in the Grass Suite. Very clean, bed was great, spacious and the hosts were nice and pesonable and the shipwreck resaraunt they own next door was awesome. The food was amazing, the atmosphere and drinks were enjoyable! HIghly recommended and a big thank you to Adam and Andrea and their staff for an awesome stay!

The word fantastic holds true for this beautiful country bed and breakfast inn. Highly recommended. The hosts are very accommodating. They are very graciousus and generous. There is a room for guests to use to relax and have snacks and tea/coffee. There is a restaurant right next to the rooms where great breakfast is made to order. You can enjoy lunch and dinnerer there. Great food and drinks. Remote and lovely in a country setting. Close to Rapid City and Keystone. Mount Rushmore National Park is nearby. Must stay place for sure.

In our 2 months of travel, this was our favorite place. The owners were very nice. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We had a beautiful view from our porch outside our door. There was a basket of treats and bottles of water in our room when we arrived.The restaurant they have is wonderful! We loved our dinner and cold beer. The breakfast (which is included with the room) was delicious. The menu gave us a great variety to choose from, too.The live music in the evening was a special treat.

Ceilings in the loft apartment or a little low. At the doctor get out of bed getting ready. But not that bad

The Inn is a lovely spot. It's well-located to drive to all the amazing natural landmarks (Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Custer State Park, Devil's Tower) and dinner in Rapid City (about a 15 minute drive), but it's the opposite of touristy - we felt like we had our own little country retreat. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, and there are lots of outdoor seating areas as well as a "common room" where there is a large fridge for picnic supplies and lots of free snacks.

We would have liked some lighter, healthier breakfast fare and better coffee.

Problem with checking in but was resolved quickly.

Sweet Grass Inn exceeded my expectations. Regarding the bathroom! The jacuzzi tub was totally a surprise! Breakfast was very good and Cheryl (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was very accommodating even to the point of helping my grand-daughtets choose activity books and engaging them in conversation.

It was a pleasure to be there, so much so that we went back a 2nd day. There was nothing to dislike.

This location was perfect for exploring all the sights in the Black Hills. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and we really enjoyed the bar and restaurant!
