Overall staff was nice, the breakfast overall was good

Several outlets when bumped whatever it was plugged in to flickered. Room not as described (no couch). Sign said to ask for forgotten toiletries -when asked they said they didn't have toothpaste. Poor parking lot. Soom rooms not attached to the hotel.

Location

The property is old and has no elevator for the second floor. Rooms are small and poorly ventilated

The hotel had overbooked, so without question they upgraded our room to accommodate our reservation. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. The breakfast had so many options and an attendant who was very welcoming to the guests. Definitely recommend.

Location was nice

was a motorcycle club that booked most of the rooms. Were loud and drinking in the parking lot at night and during the day. I also mentioned that I couldn't do stairs as there was no elevator. Said 1st level were full. 5 min. later got us a level 1 room.

Breakfast had good options

Didn¿t care for the ¿old motel¿ feel of our room location. Prefer to have inside access only (especially for the price paid).

Loved this hotel! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Well run and the staff were friendly and efficient. The location was perfect right in the middle of all the attractions. Included a full bfast as well. Would book this hotel again.

Good location and staff was friendly, helpful and courteous.

We were on the ground floor, which was great, but the noise from the room above was scary. It felt like the floor was going to cave in on us.

With the door leading right to the parking lot I was able to back my vehicle to the door and unload and load up every morning.

We went to the pool a few times and it was freezing and that was disappointing because we wanted to relax.

Absolutely delicious hot breakfast!

The room was really small, more so than what it seems to be with online pictures. The AC was also very loud and didn¿t cool that well.

Girls at the front desk were very friendly and also the breakfast staff kept everything running smoothly.

The air conditioner didn¿t cool very well and it was really hot outside snd the air had not been running before our arrival.

This hotel was walking distance to everything downtown. The staff was great. Its a dated hotel but clean and cozy.

Check in times are later in the afternoon which makes it hard to travel and site see.

The staff was really nice and let us in a hour earlier, room was a very nice size.

Convenient location

The room was terribly hot when we checked in. It must have been over 80° inside. But the window air conditioner had been set at heat (and this was in July when it was easily 90° outside). It took about 30 minutes for the room to cool down.

Comfortable room, great breakfast, polite and professional staff.

The swimming pool was too cold, but it had been unseasonably cool.

Decent free breakfast. Location is great. Clean enough.

Unable to open windows for fresh air. Sort of a musty smell. Turned AC and heat off since the unit was pretty noisy. Dresser much too large for the room and took up a lot of space. Internet in room not that strong or reliable but served our purpose.

Breakfast was good. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to upgrade the room on the spot. The location was good. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants.

The building is old and could use some updating but we expected that from the star rating. It was comfortable for a one night stop. Custer is lacking a really nice place to stay for an affordable price, though.

The pool area and the breakfast were great.

The room was musty, damp, hard to cool down. Bathroom is tiny and cramped very hard to use with children.

Location was close enough to Boy Scout camp and black hills sites! Was perfect to use a base for entire week while the boys ruffed it I enjoyed a comfortable bed hot tub hot shower clean dry room with air conditioning my own tv and a super breakfast

The stairs outside leading to second floor were metal and hard for me to drag my suitcases up making it scary since I'm short and it was during a rain and lightening storm

Poor room resupply of toiletries and pool had to much chlorine to use!

This is a 60 yr old motel. No microwave, no minifridge, parking and hotel is up a steep incline with minimal parking. Phone did not work until replaced, and even then it takes a while to get a ring. Stay at a motel across the street.
