Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast - Fort Jackson

Breakfast options were plentiful. Location was convenient to downtown Columbia and Congaree National Park

First room we were provided had not been cleaned. Had to make three attempts to get working room keys. One of the two elevators was broken. Pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast options ran out without being replaced and trash cans were overflowing.

Its in a scary part of town to be honest. There had just been a car jacking and homicide the night before in the same general area so we were pretty scared.

I liked that they had a grab and go kind of breakfast. Restaurants were within walking distance.

I did not like how stained and dirty the bedding where. The door handle to the room was also nasty.

Location is close to many popular restaurants and shopping destinations. Great staff and currently undergoing renovations to make it more appealing.

The room was huge, and although it was pet friendly, it was very clean and had no odor. Finally, the staff was super friendly.

First room they gave us was occupied by another family that we walked in on, our key cards didn?t work and we needed replacements twice and the tv didn?t work.

I had a wonderful guest experience! The staff was kind and professional, and provided excellent customer service. I enjoyed my stay in a clean, well organized and nicely decorated hotel. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful!

Room was hot. Perspiration hot. I had A/C on max, but had to go buy a fan. This is early February; I dare anyone to stay here during spring or summer months.

Room was nicely equipped, clean and quiet. Location was close to shopping and dining and interstate. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Cleanliness. Front desk clerks are super nice. The breakfast in the morning is DELISH ¿¿. Would definitely stay here again.

I don't know what those people put in the carpet but I was blowing this nasty smell out of my nose for 3 days... Even the room smelled like it too. It was like somebody just dumped a gallon of fbreeze all over the carpet. I will never stay there again.

Location. Despite the low rating, the desk clerk was kind enough to change our stinky room and upgraded us... though we still had to pay the unexpected $75 pet fee.

First room smelled like marijuana and lysol AND we were charged $75 for a small dog, despite this being a pet friendly hotel. That added fee was more than we paid for the 2 adults in the room!!!!

The receptionist. She was pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She even reach out and called senior staff to get answers to ensure my experience was the best. This type of customer service is rare so I appreciate it more than I can say.

I notice stained ceiling tile and a smell of what seemed like cigarette smoke in the elevator & when exiting to my rooms floor.

The staff was excellent and the young lady preparing the breakfast was so nice and hard working.

Overpriced....room 211 smelled like it was filled with bed bugs, the base board was coming away from the wall, the tub was peeling as it was painted before, the shower head could not be moved, shower curtain smelled when it was wet and the faucet dripped.
