SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbia near Fort Jackson

Very clean, great location.

Not knowing that there is a charge for parking. No one said anything about it being a charge for parking. 4 days later a charge popped up on my credit card.

Big size, clean, new bathroom, no mold

The breakfast was good, pretty much as you would expect from a hotel free breakfast but none the less good. Waffle makers, muffins, bagels, etc.The rooms were VERY large, spacious, modern, clean, and had a great layout. Overall one of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Only thing I can say is the rooms are a little dimly lit.

We were staying for a few days while our house on base was ready, the breakfast was great and we were put two doors down from the laundry facilities so it was super easy to do our laundry. Everything was quiet and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Nothing.

This hotel experience was absolutely exceptional. The complimentary continental breakfast was both delicious and satisfying, offering a wide variety to start the day off right. The rooms were immaculate, with spotless sheets, towels, and washcloths, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing restful nights. The staff went above and beyond with their warm friendliness and genuine respect, making us feel truly welcomed. As a pet owner, I greatly appreciated that I could bring my service dog, and he settled in seamlessly, comfortably adjusting to his crate in the new environment outside of his usual space. My children, who have Autism, absolutely loved the hotel—especially the small amenities on the patio where they played, and they were thrilled with the trundle bed offered in the suite. Every staff member—from the front desk and maintenance to housekeeping and dining—demonstrated professionalism and heartfelt hospitality, making our entire family feel valued and cared for. After an 8-hour journey to visit South Carolina, I’m so grateful I found this hotel; it truly made our trip memorable. The only thing missing was a pool, but otherwise, it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

The shower door leaked on the bathroom floor.

Breakfast area was great! Rooms were clean.

A little inconvenient to be handed a parking pass for parking and then when leaving having to stop by and drop it back off....it should just maybe be a small printed photo copied one rather than one they want you to return.

Overall the hotel felt clean, and safe. Room was spacious. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from.

Front desk doesn't have a bell or anything that I saw to alert staff if someone needs help. That is my main dislike honestly.
