Great ambiance, clean, small and charming, perfect location off busy streets and crowds but steps away from all the action, had complete amenities, I could go on and on.
Just very minor stuff like missing bathrobe hook, but really no complaints.

It has a good location. Our room was very quiet. The staff was friendly.
The property is run down and not appealing. Our room was clean but the tub didn't have a stopper, there were fingerprints all over the windows. A dead plant in the front entrance.

Location of Hotel is central and walkable to everything downtown! The employees were all professional, friendly and helpful.
From early morning till about 6 p.m. everyday, the hallway was noisy with renovation/construction workers & electric tools, etc.....there was no way to comfortably relax inside my loft/room due to the constant loud noise/renovation work going on. The hallway to get to MY room, and several hotel rooms IN the hallway are under construction, and my room inside was never even close to being quiet. I had a larger loft room with windows facing inward so that I would not hear street noise and could enjoy the inner garden patio view. Well, the construction noise/renovation noise ruined it.

The location is great. It is really easy to walk form the Church Street Inn to everywhere one needs to go in downtown. Also the free shuttle bus is a 2-3 minute walk away. We used that to get to the Charleston museum. The room had a sofa bed on the walk-in level and stairs leading to the double bed above. Quite cute really and very comfortable. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The TV wasn't hooked up to the wifi when we got the room and they got that sorted right away. They also gave us a fresh set of towels when we asked for them. Happy to answer questions and just generally pretty happy. If you're going for the first time, they have maps with the sights in the French Quarter and Downtown, both of which we walked around extensively. It's a really pretty city and very clean and relatively quiet. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.
There were minor issues in that the toaster needed managing and the fridge didn't have a door handle. But both were usable and did their jobs.We did think it was a tad pricey but for the location and the service it was fine.

Great location allowed walking to most of the sights, restaurants etc. Hotel was across the street from the market and a block from Old South Carriage horse drawn wagon tours. Spacious 2 bedroom with kitchen and seating area. One king bdrm upstairs, one on main level.Lots of pillows on comfy bed. Don’t miss Boone Plantation!
King bedroom didn’t have a chair. All of the chairs were upstairs near a second bedroom and sitting area. Lighting could be brighter for makeup application.

Great location, roomy, comfortable. Beautiful courtyard with a fountain was great to relax.
Coffee was terrible! Had a full kitchen with a full size pot but the provided (2) tea bag style coffee pods didn’t cut it!

Location is great. Full Kitchen
I was shocked to see that we came into our room, we had to walk up about 15 steps to go up to a second floor to the bedroom. That was a shocker. If I would have known this I would have picked a different hotel. The price was high per night given townhouse style. I will never stay here again. Thank goodness I did not have toddlers. The courtyard was full of pollen and rusty iron furniture. We went into another courtyard on Market and Meeting and it was beautiful with no pollen and gorgeous. So it could be cleaned up. Didn't get full instructions on how to use the parking pass which is $20 per night. aI've traveled here a lot, but wanted to try a different hotel. Mills House and Embassey are better overall in comparison. Just my opinion.

Outstanding service. The hotel is right on the street with no driveway. We had great help unloading and loading our packed SUV. Very convenient location. Parking is off site but close and convenient. Full kitchen with dishwasher was very helpful with kids to feed.
No dislikes. Only wished we had more space.
