Location was great, reception extremely friendly and accompanied, and hotel is very pet friendly
The room I was in was right next to noisiest area in hotel unfortunately, very hard to sleep at night .

It is a beautiful hotel. I loved the size of the room and the cleanliness. The evening front desk person was wonderful. It was our wedding anniversary. She personally delivered some Prosecco, macarons, and a card from the Hotel to our room. It was very sweet. Our breakfast was enjoyable. I enjoyed everything about the stay.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Beautifully decorated hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious and quiet. The main lobby area with Bar and TV area are beautifully laid out. The staff was extremely helpful. There is a large grocery store across the street and it is an easy walk to the central area of Charleston and the main market. Would return.
Nothing.

Proximity access and price of parking. Grocery store across the street Architecture encompassing the old and modern.
Saturdays breakfast was perplexing. No eggs at all and potatoes and bacon were not even warm. Burners not lit?? Guests were asking for basics like butter and cream cheese. Tiny size Demi tasse spoon to serve strawberries and blueberries ? Something def was amiss. Guests used plates not cleared.

Hotel is beautiful. Renovations are very well done. Large comfortable rooms. The rooftop is also very nice.
My room was near the elevator and rooftop terrace. It was noisy. Also, there is a retail store and trucks come and go often.

Did not eat the breakfast. The room was spacious. The mattress seemed worn, but was ok. Have stayed here several times and never paid extra for parking until this year. The location is great.
Would have liked breakfast to be included in the price. Can be a little noisy.

Nice quiet location, loved the historic feel of the place. The rooftop terrace was amazing, very relaxing.
I know that everywhere is no smoking inside, but this like most places they do not have a covered location for smoking Incase of inclement weather, they did have a nice bench but not covered.

The hotel was excellent and more than I expected. The structure was unique and the history made it Interesting that it was once a paper factory that converted to conduit the current transformation of a unique and quaint hotel. The location was perfect and encompass a sense of being a part of historic Charleston. I would recommend and stay again at this hotel.
There is nothing negative about my stay that I can think of from my stay.

Rooms are big, comfortable and location.
I paid for room up front. Got to hotel and they asked for my credit card for a deposit for incidentals. They gave us a token for bar for complimentary drinks. We got, enjoy drinks and order another round. They charge us for that round and two extra rounds on my credit card. Still disputing it. It is growing…
