Good location for easy exploring on foot. Host is genial and helpful. The inn is clean, comfortable and inviting.

The cleanliness, uniqueness and history related to Newport. Also the service was exceptional along with breakfast !

Cons -

I wish there was more counter space in the bathroom (it's big enough for only a couple of small items), but it's an old inn so that's to be expected. Still, a vanity shelf would be a nice addition. And, a power strip to expand AC access would be desirable

Pretty much liked everything. The floors creak but that can't be a complain for an older house with wooden floors. The hosts were great! Location is perfect! Breakfast is yummy!

We arrived in the pouring rain and were greeted with warm drinks and hot brownies. The bedroom was just as described. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast the following morning was delicious. We would definitely go back.
