Outdated rooms but clean

Excellent location, very close to the center of West Chester. The hotel is older, but has tons of charm. Every associate we encountered was kind and helpful.

The location is older, and the breakfast was lacking, but I would definitely stay here again. Parking is an additional fee, and very limited spots, but incredibly convenient compared to the alternates.

Location central in West Chester. Ability to walk to good restaurants.

The front desk manager was abrasive. Not great customer communication skills. She spent lots of time lecturing me on the protocol for parking, even threatening to tow my car because I did not alert her that I was changing parking lots. Communication skill

Exceptionally clean. Great location. Also, we accidentally left a spare car key in our room and the hotel called when they found it.

The staff was the most unfriendly I've ever experienced. The beds are uncomfortable, you can hear everything above and next to you.

I like the fact there are 2 parking options. Either park at the hotel garage or park at the city garage across the street from the hotel. Also - there are many restaurants and bars to walk to have meals or drinks.

Beautiful, retro-inspired hotel in the heart of West Chester PA. Beautiful furnishings, friendly attentive staff. Great hot breakfast! Free Wifi is excellent. Large rooms! Heated indoor pool - very clean. Walking distance to everything in town!

Twenty dollars a night for parking is overkill! That needs to be adjusted somehow; it's a major drawback.

Parking

The location is great and the staff was nice. It was nice to have breakfast available when traveling with the kids. Location is key to this hotels value. If this hotel wasn't in such a great location it wouldn't be worth the cost (priced as a 4 star).

It is an older hotel so you could here the people above you. Parking is across the street (hotel lot was full) and there was no in/out privileges at the garage. The breakfast was okay. Our sink drain didn't work correctly and was held together by tape.

Location, computer and printer in reception area, helpful front desk, excellent oatmeal and coffee.

1. 25% overpriced. Added hotel fee to quoted room rate. 2. Wall to wall carpeting collects dirt and odor.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times. It is right in the the great town of West Chester. Convenient to restaurants and West Chester University that our daughter attends. About 30 miles to Philly and opposite direction about 30 to Lancaster Amish.

Kind of wish we didn't have to pay extra for the parking attached to the hotel. There is a parking garage right across the street for much less but of course, we like the convenience of the attached parking.

I have been to the hotel before and overall, I like it very much. It is kept clean and neat.The front desk people are responsive. The location in town is awesome.

The Amana heater made a strong series of clicks every five minutes. You could notsleep through it. I had to turn off the heater at night. The weekend staff could notfix it. I would avoid the coffee creamer.
