Red Roof Inn Washington, PA

The first member of the staff was great but when we checked out, it was a weird experience.

The area was not the best. Lots of people lurking around and did not feel safe. The front desk person was in front of the desk and on his phone when I walked in. When I asked if he worked there, he got all defensive and gave me attitude. It was weird.

Rude staff, dirty grounds and room, assistance animal/disability discrimination. No room service or clean towels unless you beg for several days. They are also just kniving and rip you off where they can.

Location

The type of room reserved was not available. We were offered an alternative and due to the time of day, we accepted it. I had reserved a king on the ground floor and was told...sorry it's been taken.

Staff friendly

Credit card charged for “incidentals”. Not a hold, like every other hotel, but an actual charge to the card. Still not refunded.

It was convenient, food was close by, right off the interstate it was easy to get back on. There were no complications, all the room doors led right outside so it was easy for everything.

It's affordable.

The night clerk seemed very new. It took her a long time to get me checked in even though I had booked and paid for the room before I arrived.

There was mold both beds. Owner said, "What do you expect for $--- hotel ?" Yea~ Maybe he is right. Never use again, Red roof inn

Lives up to positive reviews. Decent room. Relatively clean. Everything worked. Friendly staff

Floors were not clean. Hair and a few dead bugs. Terrible coffee! Everything else was in good condition.

The only good thing about this hotel was the staff.

This hotel was disgusting! There were tons of flies (both dead and alive) upon entering room. The sink didn't drain. The carpet was dirty. The towels all had stains. There was hair on the night stand and in the bathroom that wasn't mine.

They had bed bugs in our room we took pictures and video we put the bugs in a cup and cook it to office and they still wouldn't do anything I feel we should have got a new room or our money back and neither happens

Bed and pillows were comfy.

Shower had mold and mildew around the tub. Spiderwebs in corners of floor. Killed a huge spider living in one. Definitely a residential motel.

Fast and simple check in and out. Clean room. Guests were spread out to minimize noise.

The room's furnishings were newer but not the best quality. We sank into the bed - fine for us but not people needing firm mattresses. But for the price, we were very happy. A clean bed and bathroom on the way to our destination.

The staff and the location and the cleanliness was amazing.

Proximity to airport

Room smelled like homeless person and feet. Hallway smelled like roaches and feet. Entrance smelled like curry and feet.

Clean and quiet, surrounded by restaurants, gas station, etc.

The location was good. The folks running it were pleasant to us.

Worn, used, running down. They don't invest in good maintenance to keep things up to date.....just kinda maintained.

The room was clean and quiet.

The television did not work and the clerk did not know what to do about it. The AC unit did not work properly. When the heat was on the thermostat did not work so the room just got hotter until we shut the unit off.

No light above the sink, constant problems with the heat requiring me to pack up and change rooms. Horrible.

When I checked out

The room smelled like wet dog and chicken,dirty,long black hair in shower and sink. Door handle broke off when trying to exit,had to call front desk. Moved to another room just as filthy

Room smelled heavily of Pot. Wifi only worked if you were in a room next to the main office. Walls were paper thin and I could hear everyone next to me all night. Door locks on room didn't work and it took me about 10 minutes to get in the room.
