There is NO staff there. It was an odd experience. Definitely NOT a good place for anyone who uses a cane/walker and impossible for a wheelchair user. Don't know HOW they got the pictures of this place that were posted. Very misleading. NOT a hotel.

I specifically booked the room for the hot tub. Unfortunately, the button to make the jets go on was broken.

When I made the reservation, I was given to believe that I would be staying in a two-room Deluxe Queen Suite. When I and my wife arrived, we were given the codes to one room with a spa bath in the same room as the bed and a tiny bathroom without adequate space for use by two adults simultaneously. Additionally, the TV System did not function, and I had to investigate the reason and resolve it myself in order to be able to view television programs on the television screen. there was inadequate space provided in the "Bedroom" for my wife to apply her makeup. The was a shortage of bath towels for use by two adults for a two-night stay. The Proprietors of the facility sent a message regarding access to the facility only about forty-five (45) minutes before our expected arrival and provided information for a wireless guest network signal that could not be accessed with the provided information forcing us to use excess data for communication with our cell phone for text messaging and eMailing. Overall, both I and my wife rate this facility as the WORST accommodations we have ever used in our entire history of our forty years of married life which we had selected this facility to use as our base during our visit to Jim Thorpe, Pa during the celebration of our Fortieth Wedding Anniversary. We have requested that the proprietors adjust the fee collected from us for the use of the facility or offer us an accommodation for our disappointments as part of our efforts to resolve this issue amicably for all concerned. Failing that we will be contacting the issuer of the Credit Card with whihc we paid for this service and requesting a chargeback to the submitter for the cost of the service as is permitted under the terms of the Fair Credit Billing Act.

We genuinely felt like we would be murdered if we stayed here. Questionable hookers on premises. Loud music playing. In our room, 7 drawers were already opened when we entered. Looked ransacked. Window coverings were easily seen through. Unlit stair-steps. Burnt down house next door. Questionable lock to unit. We stayed about 5 minutes and easily decided this was not a safe location. Definitely a misleading website.

Unlit steps. Rickety steps. Questionable lock. Why/how was the room ransacked prior to our stay? Long term renters/hookers? Window coverings that only peepers would love. The perfect house for a murder movie to be filmed in.

It was quiet.

The mountain was viewed over the alley in back. The room was impossibly small. There was no staff. The name of the property is deceptive. This was a glorified row home.

have written to you previously. This property is a scam and is totally mis represented on your website. We did not even sta at the property because it is so bad. You advertise it without giving the details and then I find out it is a bed and breakfast "room" without breakfast, no parking and no human contact. I expect a full refund of my $179.85 payment!!

Their was no breakfast! Ac was great, and the shower was nice and hot and cool, tv was good size

Cleansiness for sure! Found other people's socks under the bed from apparently prior customers , the comforter on bed had stains all over not sure if it was even washed or clean before we got their, room was very small and bugs in light over jacuzzi we didn't even have the desire to get in because wasn't sure if it was cleaned and sanitized! Very upsetting and had no one to talk to or tell because ev is text messaging! Also very disturbing!!!

Terrible hotel with serious maintenance issues

Stairs leading to property are rotted and unsafe, there’s no staff at all for problems. The whole house smelled like burnt marijuana.

Great location. Conveniently located close to town. Two cute local eateries in the area.

Parking in the back wasn’t accessible due to snow and ice.

The property was is located on a hill with street and back yard parking. The back parking area, also a hill, was iced over and inaccessible. Also, the on stree parking was unsafe and not located near the property. The front sidewalk was not maintained and a complete sheet of ice. We had to walk down the hill to a neighbors sidewalk in order to cross from the street side to the property side. We then had to walk up the hill in snow and ice so that we didn't fall on the ice. The walkway to the property front door was iced over and no salt or cinders were applied. My wife fell twice trying to reach the porch. I took pictures of the property and unkempt/unsafe walkways.

Truthfully, the place was great. Only 5 minute drive to town. Somehow I thought it was in town. Meaning nearer to the shops and possibly in walking distance. It clearly is not. But it was still easy enough to get to although paying to park was a bit much and was an unexpected expense. But the place was very nice and I would still recommend. It was our first time there so I may not have understood the location. I can’t even think of a thing wrong. Comfortable, clean and cute. We would like to come back in warmer weather and explore more of the history. I would consider this place as a nice option.

It’s not suite Room very dirty with musty and moldy smell if you have allergies , I don’t recommend or if you like clean that’s not your choice and room very small

Don't book it!

The condition of the property. It was not a hotel like they described. The Jacuzzi had broken knobs so we didn't try to use it. The observation deck had soft spots in the floor. Stairs on the outside were deteriorating. The living room had no tv as described. I sent a message to the property and got no response. If I would have known we would have had to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to our room I never would have booked it. Some one was smoking pot in the house but we had to go outside to smoke cigarettes!

Had a nice stay, but the steps were a little much, all the way on the 3rd floor. parked in the front, when we were leaving to go and get our bags and got a nasty note on the car, that we have parking in the back. We went upstairs for 5 minutes to get our bags after breakfast. It was the old man next door

Great location and communication from the owner/manager.

Mattress was rock hard, hot tub was not in working order ( missing knobs/buttons) and did not attempt to use for fear of damaging it further, provided parking was extremely tight for larger cars/SUVs/Trucks.

The bathroom floors weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The towel and sheets didn’t smell fresh or like they haven’t been cleaned recently. And, the worst part was the bed had hair all over it as if they never even cleaned the bed sheets.

I didn’t even stay overnight. Once I showed up and saw the property, I booked another hotel. I did go in and look at my room. Apparently I was the only one in the house. Nothing good here. It was an old house, in a neighborhood, converted to something like a B&B without the breakfast, and without any charm.
