Pros +
- Staff was friendly
- cleanliness in the room and pool, food in the restaurant, excellent view from the deck
- I loved the character of the hotel - the stained glass windows, the furniture and the fireplaces in the lobby and the dining room. It is not a cookie cutter hotel. It was unique and close to fallingwater and other attractions.
Cons -
- Very disappointed in our room. Leak behind the bathroom sink; No place to put anything in the bathroom; found the hairdryer on the floor; miniscule toiletries; No elevator - - we're older and had to walk up stairs on a couple floors to get to our room
- We stayed on the patio side of the inn but there was still a lot of traffic noise. Nothing too loud but it was noticeable.
- very poor breakfast

Lots of cosy sitting areas with tiffany lamps throughout. Staff were very friendly.

I really enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool. Hotel has beautiful historic atmosphere. The dining room was great with delicious food.
Outdoor pool was not open.
The people are so nice! The servers the front desk – everyone was just so nice. And the hotel was really clean.

It's old and needs some work
Quaint hotel. Loved the history.
It is our favorite place to stay--a quick weekend get away.
How fast my time there went
It was everything, facilities, quality and maintenance
Later hours
Our room smelled very bad when the ac was on!! So we had to turn it off!! Also no drapes or blinds to close so we were up at sunrise & the sun as beating directly onto the bed!!!
Price - little confused on “egg washed” French Toast but I just asked for toast to be well washed
tea selection in morning - maybe a green tea and an herbal would be nice to add - also stirrers
This was a wonderful step back in time to dark-wood elegance, stained-glass lighting, with a great sense of spaciousness from so many different locations both inside and outside for either group activities or simply being off by oneself. While the historic atmosphere was superb (with little touches everywhere), the service was modern, personable, and excellent. Hot water in the rooms was instantaneous. The restaurant menu while not very large, was interesting (if a little pricey). All of the listed deserts were tempting. The food was excellently prepared, in very large portions, and we enjoyed the wine.
The sharp left turn off the main road when arriving at the summit from the east can be a little daunting.
The Inn has lit of character. Really enjoyed the history and staying in an historic Inn. Yet still had modern day communications. Plus located near a variety of attractions
We didn't stay long enough
Great authentic feel. Nice welcoming fire in the lobby on a cold night. Great restaurant.
Needs updating. Missing shampoo. Never cool to discover while in the shower.
